i think the phantom was nt parked properly. I was walking pass the shop when it drop, saw a group of guys chatting with the mechanic.

5th time at Planet 01/10/2007 Night 07:35pm Weather: Warm Mood: Very worried. 2,200 Km liao haven't service....

 

Went to planet after work to change Engine oil.

Arrived at 7.35pm... Very late liao don't know if Ah Chong will still service or not...

 

Shop still got light, so went in asked Ah Chong if can do 1 more bike.

 

Ah Chong said can but must wait.

 

Wah! I thought 7pm close liao, must be packing up, sure will chase me away, but instead still got other customer and must wait some more, business really very good leh.

 

After about 10 mins still come and apologize for making me wait.

 

Felt I very fortunate that night. This Ah Chong really give me face.

 

When my turn, Ah Chong ask you know what time we close?

I said 7pm, sorry today come very late.

Ah Chong, 'Hmmm...you know har, next time don't come so late.'

My face red red.

 

When changing oil, Ah Chong said the cap going to break liao must change, and went next door to get a replacement Engine Oil Cap.

 

After changing oil, (Fully Syn) he still got tighten chain for me.

 

Total cost $26. Will always go back. :)

 

After that to thank the guys for opening so late, bought all of them drinks.

 

This Ah Chong still very funny, say very touch, touched until want to cry.

naw he usually starts closing after 7pm depending on human traffic there sometimes 7:30 sometimes 8..see how many customer in the garage(shop) itself.

hey can i ask u all. eva have a tyre punture and went to fix at planet ? how does ur puncture patch or fix last u ??? i had mine fix by chong. its a short nail from outside, he use a long slimmy brown stuff insert , twist twist twist and push it in and wala. done.. previouslly mechanic is do from inside patch . any 1 can give some highlight on this...

all my tire puncture patches last until e tires r super bald....even better..its diy.....n yes same as wat u describe as wat ah chong is using...n i usually got my tire repair kit at mustafa...u shld try doin ur own repair....its not tt difficult..n ul be amazed how long e patch will stay there..

6th time there today 26/10/2007 Evening 6:30pm weather: Beautiful

 

Actually can count as 7th time, because on monday went there to change tyre, no stock, got to book the tyre.

 

Anyway, this Ah Chong very Jiang Yi Qi, (Honor his word) say will source for me a set of Metzeler tyre, Tuesday got liao, and kept until today (Friday) for me.

 

Today get to see how people change tyre, Wah like Suan Gu like that never see before, ask this, ask that.

 

Also get to see Ah Chong in action riding a black Kup wearing his famous Poka Dot Helment. See Bei Stylo Milo Leh!

 

Then there got 2 xiao mei mei buy drinks for the mechs there. So envious, why I working that time nobody buy drinks for me har?

 

After changing tyres, the mech still help to lube my chain for free, but using my own chain wax lah. (Offered to use engine oil, but I don't like the fly-off)

But when changing front tyre, got a piece of bad news, the steering one going to die liao, when turning, will jam a little, but lucky is jam when pointing straight. but then nearly 8pm liao, so next visit then can change.

 

Paid $172 for the tyres + a new can of chain wax.

Definately will go back there next time.
