4th time there today 04/08/2007 Late afternoon 4pm weather: Sunny

 

Went Planet to buy a spare spark plug and change the Lousy signal light bulb (Which can sometimes can stay on all the way without blinking until signal is off) gotten from the Lousy Motor shop at Yishun industrial park.

 

When I asked Ah Chong why the bulb sometimes don't flicker, Ah Chong told me the bulb from I gotten is the cheapo type. (Yellow in colour) So got this problem.

NB, the shop charged me $2 some more...

Ah chong charge $5 for the 2 items, $4 for the spark plug, $1 for the bulb, workmanship fee for changing bulb waived.

Engine oil will depend on the type, $18-$20 should be enough. Filter never changed before so no data. But go planet confirm get better price, saw a malay girl riding her blue coloured Kup Kia for servicing when I was there, the girl seems to be a repeated customer there too, so the service must be good for Kups too.

all the things well done... ever help mi solve the rear brake pump kit problem rather then advicing mi to change it......

Didn't stick around to find out, but that day Planet super busy, yap, she did have another pillion along (also malay girl) the rider took off her button on sweater and they left their helmets on one of the crashed bikes on the right, then the 2 of them went to smoke at the coffee shop.

 

One thing I notice was how small the box on her Kup was. Only big enough to put 1 helmet, but when she open the box to put her black sweater in, inside was a lot of barang barang, make up kit, cigarettes, Hp... women will be women lah! If want to find out if she's your fiancee just ask her if she went ot the coffee shop to smoke when waiting for her kup to be serviced.

chong rocks la. i trust him in my rvf days now r6 oso trust him since recc by 299. all i can say is simple mineral oil change n filter ,at k&* is 53$...at chong is 33$. he never charge me workmanship for simple stuff.thumbs up la boss.......
