It's not cannot have weld marks, but it's very stupid one.

 

If need to weld, must inform LTA ask for permission first, then after that, weld finish go to inspection with the letter to take photo of the weld which will be in the LTA database. If stopped by TP they will take picture and compare the photos.

 

Just did my inspection last week, the inspection guy even made me take out my heat wrap...

LTA, pros at samans, useless at everything else. At a recent accident scene, the first thing the LTA did was ask the bleeding victim, cut lips, facial injuries etc, who's also shock for IC etc. Probably want to saman for self skidding, fill up quota, kind of stupid if you ask me.

Good thing I'm changing to more LTA friendly bike tomorrow. They really need to get their priorities right. Just like Malaysia, so many shootings and killings and all they can do is to enforce playing of national in cinemas before every single movie.

Car expensive to mod, bikes cheaper, so target bikes, especially the 2B & 2A since they cannot run in most scenarios, go after class 2 sometimes they might run out of skill so better play safe, see Class 2 sportbike with full system? Ignore sua. Only hope, catch at carpark.

yeah pole light and led light .. are more dangerous because the engineers at LTA say it might cause a fire due to the wiring and all ..

One Akra end can for fz8 around $1400. A full system for BMW 335i is around $4000 I think. Friend told me. Compare how much material we get from the price we pay. Lol. Wheels already how much, marsechini wheels for drz is $4000. Only option for tubeless. But cars, can buy all 4 wheels maybe.

 

Not all things are comparable but there are some items that are more expensive than cars... My opinion la..

Bikes no mod for intercoolers, turbos etc ma but pound for pound bike mods are more expensive but cars are more expensive overall.

 

But the difference is, no matter how you mod your car, you can almost not escape the LTA in Singapore while driving, riding, no jam can run, got jam even better.

 

That's not the issue here anyway, issue is why we have a moron running the LTA.
