Hi all

 

What brand fully synth engine oil and sparkplug recommended for spec2? I thinking of changing to denso iridium spark plug. Any advise?

 

And which shop to recommend for gd service?

engine oil can try motul 300v, plug use normal gd enuff... unless u using ur super 4 for lacing.....

sry i off topic, does engine oil affects the smoothness of the engine? mine is like very sluggish and hot easily.. done at bike shop.. dunno wat brand he use... change e.o, oil filter 60 dollar

motul 300v should b abt $20 -$22 per bottle.... if u can afford it try it......confirm u will love it....heard tat 5100 damn gd also......but never try b4 so cant comment...

wat u mean? u feel the bike feels heavy izzit? change ur oil level c izzit over the upper limit anot....u noe wat rating he use?

when i reach back the shop, my bike already pushed out

 

then i ask why so fast.. he replied, "how long do u want"

 

then he pointed me the new oil filter

hmm where is motoworld ar? Any one has gd service motorshop to recommend? I wanna find a new place to service my spec2. Abt motul engine oil, which bike shop has it ?

 

Also anyone been using denso iridium sparkplug for spec 2? any comments? I saw the denso Ad abt iridium printed on a bus, it says iridium sparkplug give better fuel consumption and respond etc... lol true?

Iridium spark plugs very chau leh for me, I think original spark plugs is more than enuff liao... Btw motul 300V u can find it at mah motorparts $20 per bottle hope tis helps....

personally i used motul 5100, semi syn, but it's good enough. no point changing to iridium, no effect. dun waste ur money and carry on using ngk plugs

i currently used motul 300v and denso irridium. so far no probs for me, engine quite smooth. serviced at wing yap along balestier road. but quite expensiove lor... motul~$23.5, denso~$18 each.... anyone got more cheaper lobang other than DIY???

tt time u service ur bike at mah motorparts change motul300v engine oil how many bottles? + knn oil filter, knn filter rite? all inclusive of worksmanship? total is $140 rite?

Anyway tat time I bought 4 bottles of ELF full syn + KNN air filter + KNN oil filter total $140.

I never buy motul lar since jeffery is giving promotional price on his ELF full syn $16/bottle.
