why would anyone want to mod a street legal pipe?

rather, why would anyone want to pay good money for a street legal pipe and then pay lousy money to mod it?

 

may as well pay money to get a non-street legal pipe. cheaper and run the same risk anyway. the money saved can be used as pay-rov-fund.

true leh... if must spend 350++ for hus a new sleeve, might as well top up to buy new one..

 

jus sell the old one for 300 cheap cheap, then buy a new one loh...

Buy new one:

Abt $700++ with inspection fees..

sell away old one dirt cheap at say $250..

need to come up with abt $450++

*provided can cash the old damaged endcan at $250..

 

Change sleeve:

$350.. Change to Carbon Fibre one, be one and only..(unless someone changed too)

I think it's inclusive of changing the rivets and repacking the wool..

No need to go for inspection, wool can pack tighter and can improve sound..

 

 

with a difference of abt $100++.. it's really up to individual whether to buy a new one or change just the sleeve..

Hi bro!!!! i did MICRON street legal xhaust @ AK motorsport, the sound more bassy then ever, when RPM goes 7 or 8000, the pipe "POWER SIA". u can try there... Look for Ah Huat the mechanic... They r the best!!!!

yeah change sleeves to firespec is 350... but i ask for C.F the guy say dont haf... maybe for tri-oval... changing sleeves is like literally buying a new end can... cos they service your endcan decarbonise it and repack the wool.. change of rivets... even a big dent they can make it like new...stainless steel i think its 320... i think only motoworld does changing of sleeves for yoshi...
