i only use Shell 95. can consistently achieve 41.6km/L milage

Same for me too, been pumping Shell 95 and achieving up to 44km/L mileage.

But i just read that this guy pump Esso Synergy 8000, will wish to try the next time.

By the way does it affects the engine much if we change the brand and grade of petrol often? For example i pump Shell V-power then followed by Esso Synergy 8000 and top it up with say SPC 95. So now the fuel tank have a mixture of 3 types of petrol, will affect?

i did try like 3 mixtures of malaysia petrol, petronas + esso 97 + shell v-power,

a little performance improvement but not much damage done. but onli tried like once, cause i stay in tampines, don go in often.

ytd i just change pumpin into esso 5000, haven calculate fc but find tht i can actaully rev more for my gear 5. wonder if it is due to the change of petrol or cause i have alot of warm up time for my bike.

i pumped SPC 98 that day as i ran out of fuel and was running on reserve.

Compared to my usual Caltex 98, SPC 98 is really jialat jialat sia.

Now my bike is kinda more noisy and the pickup is bad....man...how i wish i can just change the petrol but that would be wasting money. :sian:

Previously using Shell 98 and now pumping Esso 8000, feel better on pick up. Engine sound seems the same.

hmmm Esso 8000 and 5000 got big diff...

although they keep saying that TA200 won't feel performance difference due to it's engine capability...

Personally, i find Esso 8000 and Caltex 8000 giving me pretty decent results.

maybe in a mth once, i'll go Shell; i pump v-power... not much difference in power if u asked me.

Also i'm using MyGreenOil Additives... i feel the engine is quieter with it, but given my usual riding style, i won't say i m getting a better mileage. (33km/h)

just my 2 cents.

Do what's right, not what you think is right. =)

aiya.. you need a bike just for transport, pump petronas the best =)

normally i sit on my bike ( bike straight up position). open fuel cap. then pump to the brim... bike side ways = cant see the proper level of petrol..

usually sit on my phantom, bike flat 180 degrees to the ground. while pumping do a little humping.

only shell implement that stupid "no sitting while pumping your bike" rule.

got shouted once by the pump attendant while doing so. wth, wonder what is their logic behind this rule...
