That is understandable coz you don't want to damage your mirrors or somebody else's.

 

But we are talking about those who just simply don't want to use their mirrors when it is there for them to use instead fold or remove them.

 

 

 

Aiya... the drag from the mirrors affects their top speed. Must fold in mirrors, tuck into race crouch position, put head in the ass ... i mean... ass in the air... and throttle for the finish line.

Traveling along middle lane at BV today. Was really caught in the middle. Left car cut into my lane. Right car also cut into my lane. Car behind travelling very fast. Hong gan! Horn like a bloody mad person!

This evening when I open my bike, to my horror... my right mirror was smashed, my top box was scratched!!

 

I don't know what I did to deserve this...

I was riding along PIE towards city on the leftmost lane (being a P-late on a slow-moving phantom, I dared not go into middle lane) last Sunday. When nearing the Enous exit, I tried to filter to the 2nd lane to avoid exiting it but the traffic was heavy & I was hesistating in filtering when suddenly a purplish blue BMW horn me twice & overtook me by the road shoulder.

 

When the BM was in front of me, I immediately raised up my hand(with the palm facing upwards) to indicate "what?!".

 

The driver must have seen my gesture so he purposely slow down for me to overtake (by then, he was in the left lane & I on the middle).

I turned to look at him when I'm side to side with my hand up again to indicate what - the reaction I got from him immediately shaken me.

 

He stared at me with a furious look with wide open eyes & clenched teeth, shaking his middle finger vigourously.

I didn't expect that kind of reaction from him(I thought he'll also gesture 'what?!' to me)

 

So am I in the wrong?

Call me a gu-niang but this incident has affected me such that I couldn't sleep last night. I had to write about it.

Today while i was riding on TPE jus nw.. GOt one car with ORANGE color headlights. Another car blue lights. Another was Yellow (not d normal yellow ones) . THe oranged light one was SO DISTRACTIVE that i nearly got into an accident. hMppH!

as you've mentioned, you ride a slow moving vehicle like me.

solution

1) Stick with it and suck thumb when sth like this happens

2) change your bike

3) pursue it and end up on the losing end

Guess I just have to laugh it off & hopefully he can also realise it's not worth getting agitated over stuff like that - it's bad for the heart
