Deflating is a very good idea indeed. I will keep this in mind in case i encounter such a situation.

 

 

 

The evening downpour sure sucked man..

 

I was riding home around 6pm with the usual congestion along clementi-bt timah raod, the usual narrow lanes.. all making riding in between vehicles even more dangerous. And i thought the rain had stopped.

 

Suddenly heavy rain near sunset way. Already quite drenched, i stopped to wear raincoat cos i hate riding with wet clothes (very cold). But after about 500m the rain slowed to a drizzle.. and stopped. Damn sian.

 

Hahaz, I noe watcha mean! I also kenna b4, weather sure is weird when the rain comes periodically and randomly.

 

When I first bought my bike, din buy raincoat! Then 2nd day go out on PIE-BKE jit tao rain heavily, I was trembling from the cold rain + wind!

 

Memorable man. Now will wear raincoat unless wearing long sleeve/ shirt. SO if rain oni need to wear pants, + protect from wind also.

PIE-BKE, just after Toh Guan Road entrance, there were abt 4-5 bikes filtering in, around (some left, some right) a car, also filtering in. I was on the right side. As I filtered out, one of the bike to the car's left pengz , pillion and rider both ok coz traffic very slow as it was drizzling.

 

Dunno wat happened but the other riders jit tao speed off ald.

 

I Stopped in front to see if they needed help, and went on ahead only when I saw that they were both perfectly alright, (able to rush to pick bike up) probably only the bike injured.

Do watch out when you are turning out at the Toh Guan Road exit...

 

As there are a lot of heavy vehicles turning into the exit, their vehicles often leave a lot of debris... and of course, do watch out for your safety distance around that area!

there was once this car which sealed off the exit for bikes and trapped my gf's bike.

i kena before, somemore i must ride up the low kerb, lucky my exhaust nv kena, tat time i riding kr

for those who go to devils bend at old upper thomson road, watch out for the wild boars.

I still haven't figured out the jam along Bukit Timah Road last night. Maybe I left camp at the wrong time. I should have waited longer at the Mess, eat some left over food and go back when the sky and traffic cleared up

today i kay qiang, attempt to ride over a pvc pipe lying around at the ground, lazy to go 50m more at carpark and fall on the right side. dam lucky i just installed the metal handguard earlier which took all the damage, no damage to shrouds or box nothing! ah pek sitting at void deck must be laughing

always see this trailer around my place. always park out of car slots, making carpark mini junction and turning blindspots amazingly big

today at bike slots. at least its doesnt make those nasty blindspots this time

There was a car and bike in front of me.

Going at abt 40-50 nia.

 

I was checking for road names and the next moment, when I turned my head back, I saw the brake lights!

 

I was about 1m from the bike only, so I instinctively brake and swerve right. But impossible to stop - I passed the bike like

 

The other bike was really close to the car as well so I gather the driver must have been spotting road names like me then when he see "Oh, it's here" and immediately jam brake and signal right.

 

Really heng nothing happened... Ride safely guys, I must admit I was not on "safety first" mode, rather, was in "get there fast" mode (a mode that shouldn't exists?).

 

I should have kept a distance and go "more relac" if finding road and not used to that particular area.

on sat nite arnd 10+ bfor keppel exit..major jam..dis kind of timing sure no jam 1 den realize infrnt got accident..involving a bike n pick-up..hopefully de guy is ok..

Ya, I did, alternatively, can google shownearby for map as well - uses google map technology too.

 

But u noe how it is, sometimes the map doesn't tel u everything. When i went down to upper east coast road, it looked very diff from what i imagined, as is most roads.

Wahahaz, ya! That guy really champion man. Can emphatise that sometimes no parking for big vehicles, but still, datz like 10 bike lots or something?!?! Go and park car lots ma, at most use 3 car lots nia.

and i am slowly inching past them ...

along came some flashes behind me , i look at mirror , in my head ... werid ??

why he flash me ?? some more so fierce car.... wan to overtake me can go first lane flash them ma,

lolx.. near accident daily... Some stupid taxi driver tail gate til around 1m behind me... speed is 70km/h on my KR.. idiot man.. some more we are turning left into slip road and it's a down slope... speed up to prevent bang by him..

After that going to office carpark liao, almost got run over by a van...
