Today I nearly died again.

 

Banged down by a Toyota car at Prince Road, if it was a second earlier; it'll be a direct impact from the side but the car hit my side nearer to the back. I was going through the road while the car was exiting from another road, it didn't see me and next thing I know, I'm flying. My shoe is torn and my legs are gashed, bike is damaged badly but thank god I'm still alive.

 

This week is really a hell week for me, two accidents within three days. First escaped unscathed while the second one sustaining some injuries; what luck.

first time pump shell 95, hmmz, felt very diff from 98, like more resistive, not enough power - gotta drag throttle to pick up. last time 98 just twist can feel power liao. hmmz.

 

good thing is wun feel like engine gonna rev out of its shell when gear 4 going abt 100.

I always tell myself to ride slowly on the road but everytime see my speedometer, woohaaahahaha above speed limit, hehe.

 

hahahahaha..wat is speed limit for a kup no matter hw fast u go still got other bikes more faster than u..esp those big bikes..hurhur *eva jealous* hahaha

 

Same here!! I tell myself to ride relax relax, dun full trottle, dun ride fast fast. When i reach the road, i cannot control myself liao, turn the trottle fully, drag 1st & 2nd gear, reach expressway, aim for rightmost lane, overtake cars @ 100-110khp...if jam(every sunday afternoon @ cte, jam from amk to after blalstier, sometime even tunnel there then free) will lane split. C space big, trottle... space converging, brake... I mus say i work my brakes a lot. Brake is the most impt part of my bike. No brake, no ride.

The biker turned and look @ me like "WTF is ur prob!?".

 

Then i tell him "Nice helmet!" - he was wearing a nice full face, not sure wat brand dou.

 

And then he veli happy and smiled.

 

thereafter i was going along ulu pandan road and saw this female rider, riding a classic street bike, with full face as well. I wanted to ask her where she bought her "net" but she veli serious and keep looking forward. Eh sis, relac la!

Today went between a car and a taxi, the 2 of them started closing into each other, for a moment I thought the 2 of them going to bang each other with me "Kiap" in the middle.

 

Luckily my handle bars already crossed over their mirrors by the time they started moving towards each other, so with a 1/2 twist of my throttle I zip out of the gap into freedom!

 

On hind sight, I wonder if I had released throttle, could I have hook on my handlebars to their 2 mirrors and get a free ride all the way home!

u sure u want a free ride? what if its a free ride to heaven? lol..

 

 

by all means, clutch in and rev and harng them but no need for physical contact la?

 

everyday those jiu hu kup prix riders also bo zeng hu anyhow cut in groups. Does that mean a driver should say "I must go and 'touch them', let them feel the pain den next time they wun do that!"???

wah bro! u really gotta be careful while riding. i don't mean your riding style is no good. it's just that i always maintain this mindset that every car on the road is out there to kill me. so every time got junctions, must really look right front left front and back. now become my habit already check everywhere. cars nowadays so complacent. come out carpark always never check blindspot. so, like your case, it's really bad luck for you. cannot manage to avoid him. take care ah bro! and remember to claim everything that's on you that day! helmet, handphone, potential income and etc!!

wahh! if use gloves and knee guards, sure hot like siao! imagine doing deliveries wearing that. i sure can't handle the heat! and that's why i'm very extra precautious when i do deliveries. with a cheap half-face and my long sleeved shirt as protection, sure rabak one if accident.

today, i almost accident while doing deliveries. similar to fritz but i'm 1 sec behind instead. so managed to brake hard while the car is in front of me. if im 0.1 sec early, sure kena already! the guy failed to give way to me as i was turning from major road to minor road while he was turning from minor to major road. and the best thing is when he starts to turn out and that's also because i have to give way to him, he waved his hands at me in anger!! wtf sia! he should go back to school and do the stupid theory lessons. almost banged me and still dare to scold me. i should have just banged his stupid car and make it a police case. for him, e-braked no problem cos 4 wheels. but for me, i have to ebrake while on the turn!! i think if i skidded in front of him, surely he won't bother about him. argghhh!! angry!!!! want to kill him!! really sia!! :gun::gun:

Welcome to our world of dispatch and delivery.... sometimes we tired didn't see a car swerving out and collided.. really pity you, i do delivery also accident but not as bad as yours... At least you live to tell the tale. Take a break... bike will always be there for you. Once you ready to hit the road once more, i shall train you on my "offensive riding " techniques @ Jln Besar and Serangoon road and other peak hour roads!! My favourite place to havoc on bike1!!

Today went to Jalan Besar go Lim Ah Boy's to get the spider webby... $5 for a kick ass big one and $3 for a small one.. Quite worth it.... i finally can spider my backpack to the pillon seat and/or spider a pillon helmet so i don accidentally buah any cars while squeezing...

 

After that my daily training routine in rush hour traffic at Serangoon road and the side roads... rowell/desker/upp weld rd/syed alwi.... etc.. I COME HERE TO CHEW BUBBLE GUM AND FIGHT TRAFFIC!!! AND IM ALL OUT OF BUBBLE GUM!!! :cheeky:

 

Then go for sengkang pongoll outing... yahooo!! Fun day!!

I think you should take this opportunity to allow your body to have a good rest and also for you to recover psychologically as well... I know how it feels like to have met with accident and be on the road soon after that...

 

I think it's just best that you take a brief break now

yeah Fritz... take a break and rest. Your case seems water-tight. Car coming out from minor road failing to yield to major road's right of way is "Bao-Jiak". Just a suggestion: If u engage your own lawyer, u can claim the driver die. My friend riding riding an SP claimed $10k in personal compensation although she seemed fine to me. If u let a bike shop handle the legal papers, u're gonna get a lot less. Since its already happened, cut a bigger share for yourself if u can. I have no sympathies for mofos out there to endanger other road user's lives. Its a pity hov didn't work for you in that incident. I can only hope you don't lose confidence in it or your riding. Use each accident as an opportunity to learn and be a better rider. We all had a bad share of crashes. Best of luck in your recovery:thumb:

Went to paya lebar yahama for first servicing... use tpe/kpe... i dun use cte/pie cuz sure jam... tpe/kpe lot lot smoother. Clutch feel veri good after the service, neutral veri easy to find, the engine sound oso less harsh @ high rev. Wan to install scotoiler @ motoworld but mech say my bike not suitable...sian... now muz d.i.y. lube chain. Any guide to chain lubing? Thanks.
