actually this was yeaterday.. was riding along farrer road ard 3pm.. the road was wet cuz it just rained quite heavily.. there was this jb honda wave stop beside me at the trafficlight junction of farrer and empress rd.. when green, we both move off.. but a few metres in front the poor guy skidded on the metal thingy on the road (the place whr they are building the mrt station underground).. i stopped in front to help.. when i got off my bike, what i saw was the worst of singaporean behaviour.. NO CARS STOPPED TO HELP.. instead most of them were just blasting their horn!

Its good that you helped him. Aiyah you dunno meh sillyporean attitude ma. Thats why they only got 1day jail and 2k fine for Killing a rider. You dunno meh??? Sux rite... Too bad then... wat to do.. we have to be extra careful but for you i have to give you 2 thumbs up.

anyway, today while riding, i saw an aprilia 125 ride past me to my left. as we wait for the traffic light, a fazer ride past me to my right. i feel so inferior. a fazer with a very fleshy chick on board. that proves that big bikes are babe magnets. anyway, i hear the fazer's idling sound. very nice. i hear aprilia rs125's idling sound. sounds like someone's farting staggeredly.

Sometimes its not a Singaporean thing. There's a phenomenon called the "Bystander Effect" in psychology, where people will assume others will render help to those in need. Since you've stepped forward, its quite natural that no further drivers or riders will assist, especially if the fallen rider has got onto his feet, or is already lifting the bike up and shows signs of recovery. The solution if you're the one in need is to request assistance from only one person.. I'm not sure how it could work if you're a fallen rider though. Maybe laying motionless might trigger someone to help if you really can't get up on your own.

sg a lot of knn ppl one. i stopped to help one biker who had a terrible accident in feb. he slammed into the back of a car fast and was seriously injured. i helped to divert the traffic but the knn ppl just simply slow down to watch wats going on, drivers and riders alike. only me and another rider stopped to help.

 

the jammed traffic was so bad dat the ambulance had to make one big detour and come from the other side of the road. i did all i could to help and left after he was sent to hospital on the ambulance.

 

i received a call from the driver of the car which the rider slammed into. the rider didnt make it read in the news few days later dat he was just in his 20s, on his way to work at the airport after school

 

i still blame myself being so useless and couldnt do anything to help. its very sad to see someone fading away in front of u even though you do not know the person at all

jus nw while riding..my area gt lightning & thunder n super heavy rain until ride halfway engine oso can stall..coz i no time 2 warm up the bike..late liaos..lol..so put on raincoat n for once i wore slippers..den the feet kena the rain sibei painful like needles poking ur feet..n i tink im in need of a new raincoat coz water still can seep in..haish..gpr raincoat by the time i reach cte tunnel..sun so high..stupid freaking weather!

Do what u can, leave the rest to fate... It's not ur fault. Of coz if u could have used ur helicopter to heli-evac him and u din den... But im assuming we normal ppl no helicopter la!

Dung noe wtf happened earlier, but at the usual time, my usual route was completely congested. Right from Source to Destination, din even go expressway. What luck!

 

I must be damn lucky not to have been involved in anything that happened earlier that caused this jam.

 

It was wet roads again as I passed by the spot where I skidded 1 week ago. Ease throttle, take it easy…

No doubt im abit like you but i would suggest the same as Rappy Hahaha... cool it and chill la. Alot of ppl always like to play taunting games.

 

There was once at KPE sengkang exit, this fellow riding cbr400 i think. I should say that he is fast at turn. But once i see he is with a pillion. i quickly close throttle... basket that guy is crazy. If he wanna die better die alone than with a fren. So thus i think best not to play with them... some is siao one. Just get home safely is the best.

Today while not riding [took a bus] down to P***** motors cos mech say can collect bike from overhaul today. i already dropped the bike off on friday, today was tuesday. I reached at 11am expecting the work to finish at evening or closing time.... nvm... i go there meet friends... walk around... lim teh... see bikes... until 4pm i go back check.

 

The parts still lying on the floor, engine still in same position dismantled.... nothing was touched at all.... then mech say Oh sorry actually tmr collect....

 

**** i almost volcano erupt... OF COS LAH YOU WHOLE DAY LEAVE DOWN THERE NEVER TOUCH OF COS TMR COLLECT LAH... WHO KNOWS NEXT WEEK, NEXT MONTH COLLECT ALSO CAN.. NI NA BU.... CHAO CHEEBONG Top overhaul also can take 6 days.... to be fair to them they are freaking busy... but WTFFFFF!!!! ****ING **** ON A ****ING STICK!!! Le ma si gong today collect eh ... collect money from 4d or toto also faster.... chao turban!!!

 

Suck thumb... wasted my whole day, nothing was done.... take bus go home... ****ing never going to go back there for major repairs ever again.

 

Nvm learning experience: Never send ur bike to a very popular motorshop for repairs if you want it done fast.... Since Lao Jiao always get priority, you leave bike down there 365 days if they got 364 bikes to do your one last day then do.... **** man..
