it wouldn't rain without warning.. there are always tell-tale signs for heavy downpour.. strong winds, overcast sky, dark clouds, etc..

 

make an effort to check the rain cloud movements should the sky in your travelling direction looks gloomy..

I guess you have yet to experience such. Also I guess you have yet to experience on one side of the road its raining heavily and the other is sunny. Such is the ability of God.

Yesterday early morning storm... had to ride all the way from kovan to tuas...

 

better invest on a pair of leather gloves soon... rain on the hands at speed hurts like hell.....

 

Mesh gloves with knuckle protector r good enuf... Dry easily too.. If its wet just placed it somewhere near engine/exhaust area n will b dry in no time..

 

I've got several pairs of gloves so once a week i juz wash my gloves to keep it clean... Juz dun understand those riders whose gloves r so stinky n can still put it on... If hands oreidi they treated like dat, think e feet gonna b worst... Lolzz ...

Like dat if ur heading towards west side (lets say Jrng West) from e east, suddenly along PIE at bukit batok u see ahead e sky is very dark like its gonna rain but on ur left e cloud is clear, so u exit n go Jrng East instead ?.. Then after that wat nxt ? Park e bike n take train/bus to Jrng West ?... Or U-turn n head back to East ?

 

As for me, as far as possible, b4 my journet to e location, i'll call up my friend staying in that area for feedback on e weather .. If no friens staying in that areaf ,then juz too bad lor...

I usually do not care if its raining and whether I'm wearing a raincoat or not, I just go if I have no choice. Provided I do not like to ride in the rain because of past experiences and basically because it makes the already dangerous road more dangerous. Rather wear waterproof jacket than those yellow rain or arai raincoats.

Agree bro.. Aku bersyukur pada Illahi atas pemberian n keberkatanNya... He gave me wat i have now n He can take back anytime He wants... In e past, my boss didn't understand n unhappy to y i nd to pray daily coz he tot only Friday prayer is compulsory.. After explained, only then he understood n eversince then no more problem ... Coz i told him this, " Sir, if because of me praying to my God, u wanna to reprimand me, pls go ahead coz i'm not afraid of anyone except God e Almighty... My life, wat i have, in fact everything, belongs to HIM..." Hearing this, my boss apologised for e misunderstandings.. N a week later, me n my kakis managed to solve a big problem at work n my boss commented for e very fast result... Told my boss, i thank HIM for e direction that HE gave me, thus e result..

 

I know im harsh in most of my comments here but that's me.. To those who can accept, they will learn but to those who dun, its their loses... Used to b nice but pple take me for a ride so no more Mr Nice guy... Im str8 n blunt in my comments coz i dun wanna b hypocrite aka munafik...

Alhamdulillah. Well said. I too was once a nice person. So nice people took advantage of my kindness. I have lend countless friends money and up till now not even a cent returned. Alhamdulillah. Well said. I too was once a nice person. So nice people took advantage of my kindness. I have lend countless friends money and up till now not even a cent returned. Helped those who I am able to help but they took my kindness as a weakness. We are alike I guess for I too am straight and blunt in my comments. Sadly some people can dish out harsh comments but could not accept the same back. I am slowly taking a day at a time for I read that damaged nerves will take up a long time to heal. Understand how u feel bro.. Nowsaday its very diff to get pple who r "automatic"... Ask for help/favor but tot its foc.. If tell them off, they will say "Alamak, u not sincere in helping lah, blah blah blah" but these mangkuk forgets 1 thing, if their bike were to send to shop for suspension set up for eg. sure kena charge $$ one... Im not expecting tis mangkuk to pay me but a pack of ciggy n cuppa coffee cost how much only ?? These mangkuk forgotten that buy asking me for help, they r taking away my time n not to say my knowledge that i've learnt in a very hard way... Now can forget it.. Only help my sahabat... Others, can wait long long...

True bro... Dats y im very cautious... I've known my buddy for e past 5 yrs n i nvr see him getting angry b4, all e while it has been happy go lucky for us but e ride that we did 2gede to Pattaya was e test of our friendship... That's where we learnt bout each other - temper, patience, ego level etc.... I thanks e Almighty God for giving me a friend which i can call brother or in Malay terms, Sahabat...
