Aiyah came across ugly mangkuks out there be it cars or bikes who juz cnt let me enjoy my ride peacefully.. During heavy traffic, kup kias or any bike dats smaller than mine cant follow patiently when lane splitting n always tot dat they can do much better.. So b it.. Oreidi i travelling at a comfortable speed when lane splitting so wat more they want... I go "slow" coz im thinking e "WHAT IFs" - eg. Wat if got 1 gunduu driver juz suddenly wanted to change lane without giving signal or worst, check their mirrors n blindspot, wud i b able to slow down my bike in time.. Im looking for e tell tale signs of e drivers head, vehicles etc... But wat do those mangkukz thinking ? "Eh, big bike rider, if ur scared to lane split, juz F off !!!" ... Well too bad, if those mangkuk wants to risks their lives, can go ahead n cut me when there's opportunity to do so, else juz tiam tiam follow behind...

 

I dun really bothered by tis mangkuks who wants to spoil my day anymore coz all i want is to reach my destination safely in 1 pc... N to those who disagree can go marina for a kite flying session

Let cars continue their dream tat they can outrun cls 2 ba. Of coz some cls 2 maybe possible. If in e mood just break their dream.

 

@WanFazer. Good for u. Dun let them be a bother to u and affect ur mood. Now a days. If i splitting slowly and behind ve small bike come, if it is safe and easy to do so, i will move aside let him then come back behind him/her lo. Once road open i still pass him/her.

 

Then if there is bikes in front if me and e splitting sod is slow, i will also keep a safety distance. Now small bikes even some big bikes like to head to butt during lane split. Accident waiting to happen. ._.

After changing from s4 to current fz1 surprisingly sometimes cars give way to me. Instead now is sometime small bikes cause problems for me. I shared my experience where a kup cut my lane when i was lane split and i nearly ram him. It was very close

 

cars also still ve some wan to disturb but i just siam them. Dun bother at all. Ride happily can le. let cars overtake i also wont lose skin. ^^

 

But the blood boils comes when they nearly get us into accident and yet they look as if none of their business and just look in front. Piss !!!

 

 

 

Few years back, was riding along upp serangoon flyover.. 2 lanes rd.. Lane 2 occupied by cars n lane 1 occupied by 2 mangkuk riders, riding parallel covering up e lane n was toking to each other n travelling at 40 km/hr !!! Squeeze in between them n at e traffic light ahead m awaiting for them to jio me for a "talk" but e most only look see - look see.. Aiyah, was so disappointed leh coz no action... In e end i juz started to whistle lah coz damn bored lolllllzzzz !!!

They are smart enough not to mess with a bike so big in size and fierce. God knows how many horses in between your legs. Haha.

That's what I'm worry of too at that time. 1 of my friends told me if me or my pillion Injured in anyway. In this case my pillion small foot was squeezed and was reddish. I should just come down and just call police since there's an injury.

But if really go to court this case biker will bear part of fault maybe 25%? Becoz he kicked e car. Before tat wat happened we dunno.

When you got three TPs for the motorcade, and another 4 station on the next two exits, i guess they must be VVVVVVIP. And imagine the sight of all the bikers dashing off into an empty ECP; even the TP back marker point to us to slow down and keep behind the convoy. Haha.

 

Woh!! Like MotoGP start off but after a while follow behind "safety" car..

 

I like to follow behind Ambulance.. smoother ride during a jam..

dunno why nowadays drivers so scared of the stone barriers/walls (those along ECP, PIE and BKE), they always like to travel on the extreme right/left of the lane (some on the dotted line) as though their cars very very big and the stone barriers will eat their cars. i have to admit that the stone barriers along ECP beside lane 1 make the lane smaller as compared to the rest of the lanes and it is understandable for bigger cars like Mercs, BMWs, etc to travel more on the left of the lane.

 

but i dun understand why the drivers like to keep on the extreme right of the lane on PIE (Tuas) near the BKE entrance when the stone barriers is only blocking the road shoulder and not eating into the lane. the lane is big enough for buses and they are not travelling on the dotted line or the extreme right of the lane. that area always have heavy traffic and it makes lane splitting super inconvenient. i noticed some of the msia kups lane split in between the car and the stone barrier cuz majority of the cars tend to keep to the right of the lane

I heard from somewhere that we can actually sign up for a volunteer tp position and u will receive a token of appreciation maybe a few hundred monthly basis.

From here we know how is their driving skills. It's obvious that they are afraid of scratching their precious metal cages that when they in driver seat. They tend to have a perception of that object is nearer than what actually is. I not sure u guys know what I'm trying to say. But that's what I think the reason behind it.

@NL27. I think u mean volunteer police? Actually even if got such positions, i also dun wan. Becoz my fren is a volunteer police. They ve "schedule" de. Each mth ve to commit a minimum of dunno how many days (not a lot). Me just wan to help capture video of offenders when i c them. Dun wan to be patroller. ._.

 

Yuh i noe wat u mean. When I'm driving i am quite fearful of these walls. Really dun ve a good sensing of e distance. But thankfully i drive small car. On e same topic, some cars can be so afraid of these walls but yet not afraid of passing another car or bike too closly.

Actually tailgating aka not maintaining a safe distance is illegal. It is not spelt out specifically but there is a clause for dangerous road using and thus tailgate is generalized under tat clause. Not just for emergency vehicles.

 

Basically if u cause accident on road may be fine. Thus dangerous road using may need to accident. Thus if tailgate = dangerous road using = liable to be fine.

 

but i ve never encounter serious case of tailgating. Usually is just those who lousy control accelerator and waste fuel type. But i see before it happening on e road, just not on me la.

Well, I drive a car too. When you're inside a car, especially those drivers out there who don't ride, you're oblivious about the close proximity you're to the car or bike beside you. You will need to take the effort to glance at your side mirrors to make your judgement.

 

Of course, when we drive (as bikers too), we know how to estimate. I will use the side mirrors to judge the distance between my car and the bike beside me.

 

Question is... How many of the drivers out there actually realize that they are passing too close to the bikers? Chance is that they don't even bother.

When im driving, often i checked e side mirror, if got bike lane splitting on e left, so i juz kp my vehicle to e rite lor n let e rider pass thru..

 

When u see vehicles dat not keeping to their lane properly, for sure they r checking their hps.. Damn mangkuk driver.. Ought to b shot !!
