Agreed. However most of the reckless driving I encounter seems like they are out to kill us. Its joke and fun till someone dies.

 

 

Quite a number of times. Even had a taxi tailgate flickering the high beam and horning me when I was in the 2nd lane on the expressway when lane 3 and 1 was clear in the wee hours of the morning. :what:

 

 

I do have the habit if checking the mirrors every few seconds and if I spot a tailgater or someone faster I will just let them pass provided if its safe for me to move out of the way. Sadly rarely do I see drivers get out of the way to a bike pass them hence the LS. Ego? Ponder.

 

Seriously feel like following the person in " ghost rider " and " premier rush "... Carry a huge and thick metal chain around my body and literally break off cars mirror when they're not using it... Just watched premier rush last night, they really did put it to good use... Just wondering... Because it looks really tempting to me...

Think i am quite lucky. Often ve car give way to me. Either while LS or while I'm in lane 1. Bikes also do give way. But in all e situations also got fair share of never give way vehicles kla. Never give way of coz more than give way but e feeling is still good knowing tat still got good road users around.

 

And i will always try my best to give a wave even during LS though very quick wave. If safe enough will wave and thumbs up and other patterns.

at least there are kind riders and drivers.

Trust me, a good percentage of taxi drivers are d!cks, another good percentage are terrible at situational awareness.

For god's sake just LS. This is what I do with all tailgaters, if its an open road, I give way or I break the speed limit, I often do the latter but I usually know where the cams are.

There was also an accident on PIE towards Tuas sometime in the morning. What I saw were a couple of police vehicles and one badly smashed up car on the 1st lane. Created a big jam. :what:

 

Was in a four wheel and almost rear ended a toyota Wish near keppel road when it suddenly stopped for whatever nonsense when it was two car length away from a taxi. Managed to e-brake and swerve safely to the left as it was empty.

Hate those tailgaters. First give them a slow down hand sign. If they don't listen, i will point at my camera, then i give way and show them the " I am watching you" hand sign. followed by " one finger your in trouble" and mind**** them. trolololo. Of course, do that only in safe traffic. If heavier traffic, i will just show the "five fingers wtf you want" and overtake then vehicle infront.

Today while waiting for bus at east coast road. Saw a cub biker, probably drunk. And probably Was lane splitting at the pedestrian crossing when the lights turned green, fella gunned the throttle, bearing in mind got pillion, think the front lifted and caught him by surprise, then front landed, and he got a tank slapper while still gunning the throttle wide open. Needless to say, had a nice crash, both of them, in front of double decker bus and a land rover defender.

just don't like vehicles closing in on me or vehicles closing in on other vehicles while we are exiting expressways, especially those with a long bendy curve and down slopes. Why can't the vehicles behind slow down while going down bendy slopes?

 

the distance between the vehicles are so close sometimes that if the vehicle in-front slows down excessively, there won't be any way to avoid a collision

 

btw, r these expressway exits called Slip Roads?

Was riding to MBS from CBD area on 31st night to catch fireworks.

 

Saw this lambo crashed into the central divider area directly under the Collyer Quay bridge... I think he thought his 4WD was magical and wanted to show off to new year party people that Lambos can climb dividers...

You had many opportunities to move to lane 2 but you chose to stay in lane 1 and blocked his way.

Maybe dun wish to lane split? Riding not = LS and LS not = riding. Think u never c before car LS. Lol.

 

Anyway i feel tat e rider not toad hogging since traffic was not light, not as if e way ahead was clear. Whenever e way ahead clear up, e rider always catch up also.

 

If this is considered road hog then i think i ve done it often too and i apologize for my actions. But sometimes dun feel like LS lei. I feel tat if way ahead is clear and i dun wan to speed up the i should give way to vehicle behind. But if there is always a vehicle in front, wat do u expect me to do? (if i dun wish to LS)

 

Maybe u can define wat is road hogging in ur opinion first?

 

It doesn't matter what the road speed limit is. It's the extreme right lane. If someone faster comes up behind you, you should move aside and allow them to pass. They breaking the speed limit is their problem, not yours.

saw a almost totalled lambo when i went down to the showroom to meet my client

Suddenly, a BLUE taxi(SHD3010K)tailgated me and he switched off his front lights....didnt know what he's motive by doing that. And i was riding at 80km/h, tried intermittent braking yet he still tailgated me. Infact he even highbeamed me!! Was very pissed off. Finally when about to make my right turn, the taxi overtook me suddenly! Only after that, he started switching on his front lights again...and as a junction approaching ahead, i saw him overtaking dangerously on the left when a van is about to turn left at the junction. My very first encounter with a very very reckless taxi driver..my fellow bros n riders out there, ride safe always n be alert upon seeing the taxi mentioned above on the road..

At least install a carbon fibre hood or a black hood to make it look similar lah....(if its a mercs taxi better), then YELLOW taxi become the yellow mazda in initial d hahaha...
