When i attended the army 2b course in kaki bukit in January, one of the instructors told me an interesting story. He rides a Gixxer 1k, and the other instructor rides a 400cc scooter. They both heading to Bukit batok after work, but by different routes. The gixxer went to PIE at average 80-90kmph, cos jam and he had to lanesplit. The scooter went by the Bartley viaduct at average 70-80kmph cos scared TP ambush, which is common at Bartley viaduct.

The Gixxer instructor only reached the destination like 5mins ahead of the scooter. The distance travelled is roughly the same.

if i travel at 100kmph for 2mins (3.333km covered), vs 80kmph (2.667km covered), the time i saved is only a few seconds. But too bad, speed gives the false impression that drivers or riders will save like 15mins if they chiongster.

Singapore is too small to chiong. We can push with the traffic and squeeze to see how much time saved but it won't be much.

Anyway, I also not talking about those high sensitivity government secrets what. This is just a discussion about what happened to a TP officer who chased a "suspect" to his death... Nothing official or secret about that... If its a secret, it wouldn't even be brought to court... The government would settle it themselves... Why need the court to sentence the officer... Get what I mean? -.-

Just saw a speedy fz16 rider with shorts slippers and a full face helmet almost got sideswiped by a car. Horned to warn. Driver suddenly swerved back to 2nd lane and 1/3 of the first lane. Sped up abit and saw that its a lady driver. Teow her abit and she looked in my direction. Weird thing was she was wiping her saliva as though she was drooling when I 'teow' her and shook my head. Sorry Silent Hunter I borrowed the 'teow' part.

No mei mei s today, just one rider helping out another rider. ;)

Today while riding, I was on my way back from JB after buying my favorite curry puffs, I spotted an Indian uncle pushing his bike just after the woodlands checkpoint, so I stopped to offer help.

The uncle said his son was already on the way, and declined my offer to let him use my bike's battery.

Knowing that he will be safe, I rode off back to "Ta Pao" lunch for my "Bor Bor"! :shy:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Potentially deadly situation bro. Very glad you and your wife is ok. PIE? Try not to overtake at bends though. Just like in front on MBS. So many change lanes at the bends.

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...
