you actually learning from how you crash does.

agree, it's not the crash though that makes you better it is the lesson that makes you better. Also many won't know what caused the crash so it becomes a wasted lesson.

On saturday as i was leaving my house, in the carpark there was a slightly staggered junction, i stopped at stop line, look left, look right, look left again, then blindspot and move off. Suddenly heard from my left side car-ebrake tyres squealing. Instinctively i jammed brake also, lower half bang into fuel tank even though kiap tightly with my thighs, and my brakes at max liao still have the vub-vub-vub jerking feeling.

A hyundai taxi was the other party, he came out charging along that road, in a carpark. The driver wind down the window and start to scold expletives, father mother, stupid biker, bak chiew tak stamp never see before moving off, when he was the one F1 in a carpark. I just looked at him in the eye, pointed to my gopro on my helmet and asked, "want to see video?"

After which, he tiam tiam and drove off. But his driving, still damn jialat. After a hump, he will floor accelerator, then hard braking before the next hump, then floor again when he clear the hump. If i was his passenger, sure vomit one.

Also, lately seems like a very bad trend. Cars (especially taxis) stopping by roadside to pick up or alight passengers, they don't even bother to put hazard light. So much so until i always stay away from the left most lanes now.

RIDE.

Yesterday while entering filter lane almost got 'squeezed' out onto the kerb. This car suddenly decide to share the filter lane. Sure it did signal but I was already in the filter lane before it did and there was a huge bus in front. So the thought of speeding up is not possible. It got do close I could just kicked the door. Even able to see his family in the car clearly. I was quite angered but I did not know why I suddenly spat at it. Maybe the passengers noticed it and alerted the driver because he started to back off. Wanted to to reprimand the driver at the next traffic light but I was going right and he went straight. So no chance. :D

Before anyone accuse me of just despising drivers. There was this white Super 4 with a female pillion that took same exit as me on PIE. Puposedly left a big space on my right for it to overtake me. True enough it overtook me but just cut me off abruptly to get ahead. Almost had to e- brake. What is up with that? You want to show off or what? Then went on to squeeze past the other vehicles in front. If you are in here I know your bike so powerful unlike mine. You want to die can die alone.

Taxi speeding in carpark. Still wan to accuse rider speeding or any how. Rider pointed to his camera and taxi diam diam.

Rider also notice that taxi like to f1 driving from hump to hump and he pity the passager.

Also rider notice more taxi like to sudden stop at left side to pick up passenger. Thus he avoidbeing on the left lane now. (though in my opinion it has been very common for a long time)

Not hard. or maybe Dun understand my explanation also?

Yeah cab been all the while like this, I avoid being at the left lane when there is a cab at the right lane.

But It's a carpark even the taxi is very fast how can u not see him? Unless He just turn from a corner.

I also notice quite a number of transcab (those old red cab) give way to me when I am lane splitting. And most merc cab just act that They can't see u.

This morning saw a rider lying on lane 1 AYE(Tuas) near Buona Vista exit. Seems like a chain collision to me. The riders and drivers are there to look after him as well.

Hope he's fine.

The issue on bike, very true. Just a message to those "street racers" .. Not everyone is "challenging" you come on. Be is super4, DRZ or any sports bike (Just that I always get from these bike riders) . You guys like straight road and chiong, it's your problem.

Your life cheap, it's your family's problem.

I travel nicely in my lane, you need to cut me at my blind spot.

Please, to all these ah beng hao lian bikers, you want to die, go die yourself. Don't cause tragedy to other road users. Even if you crash, please hug the divider, so that your body will not lie on the floor and obstruct the traffic. For one, I will just go over and keep riding on.

That right turn there, there's a blind area on the left side if vehicle parked in the lot nearest to the junction, that day, a van parked there so vision was a bit blocked, had to inch a bit more forward to see. I always make it a point to stop at the stop line check left, then right, then left again before moving off. the road on the left is about 30m maybe, and then there's a bend again.

When i checked left for the 2nd time, the taxi had just cleared the corner, and i deem it still safe to proceed cos distance is enough and taxi clearing corner only means should be slow speed. So i proceeded cautiously and then suddenly that bugger horn and jam brake. Judging by his driving pattern, he prolly floored the accelerator when he cleared corner...

Aiyo... Cannot like that ma... There are 4-5 types of "street racers"... The first one is the type of racer that doesn't check blind spots and doesn't give a damn about other road users... The second type is the racer who checks blind spot but doesn't give a damn about other road users... The third type doesn't check blind spots but gives a damn about other road users... The fourth type of racer checks his blind spot and gives a damn about other road users.... The fifth and last type of racer checks blind spots, gives a damn about other road users and tries to prevent road accidents by interfering with the first and second racers who change lane abruptly without signaling, lanesplitting at unnecessary high speed and cause near accidents... So cannot label all as the same... There's a difference...

Classify as motorist who cause danger to others on the road. Problem solved. So this type should just disappear.

All same to me. You see, my bike is torquy, so pick up is slightly faster than other bikes. Then I always get these DRZs and S4s reving the **** out of their engine when moving off a traffic light to "beat me". I rode super4 before, and the pick up is actually quite slow. Speed kicks in only after Vtec (No offence to Super4 owners, different bikes have different capabilities) . It is so apparent that these riders is riding more aggressive than the usual way.

Then also this incident with a GSXR1000, whom after I lane split and passed him (he was on travelling law by law within the lane initially), he started revving up and tail gated me for some time before finding another gap, and speed through me.

Please lo. I uncle at heart .. want to race, please go your lim chu kang road, changi or yishun damn (or whatever place these bengster like to hangout). I might wear a rossi helm, but I am on an adverturer tourer bike, wearing office wear, leather shoe, peacefully commuting to my workplace.

Dont mind me saying, but these kinda ego problems on our road is rising as I type. For cars, they try to block your advancement (slowing down or preventing you to lane split) . For bikes, die die must chiong and "win", and somehow doing that will increase their p3n*s size.

I know there are both good and bad road users, and I am grateful to all who use the road in a civilised manner, so that I can live one more day. Those reackless ones, please, use your own life, don't use mine can? Please, I let you win, I let you pass, just don't bring me along 6 feets under.

I concur. I admit I do speed up when light turns green mainly to get as far away from other bigger vehicles. I never feel safe when a driver is beside me even when I am not lane splitting. Sometimes I slow down just so I am further away. However I made sure I was not road hogging.

Yea. You know, it's definitely not safe for 2 bikes to be travelling side by side. If have enough power, then just pull off ahead of me, or just move off normally. Rather than try to play chase and stay beside. Just find it so dangerous.

My S4 no Vtec leh, confirm kena left behind la like that hahahah. I don't think anyone cares about beating you, maybe that's how they ride? Anyway I don't care if anyone wants to beat me, just don't overtake closely and quickly when got more than enough space, even if I have no choice but to overtake that bike closely, I do it gradually, trips my wire when people do that.

I only have 2 riding styles, not late and very late.
