for paintwork and chrome parts i use wax lei.. chrome parts cannot use wax one ah? muz buy special chrome metal polish to keep it chrome ah?

i'm sure you can use wax on the chrome parts. however chrome polish helps remove rust. i don't think wax can remove rust so which explains why i got the chrome polish.

Clutch plate at $55? maybe u dont let Ah Koon know the problem let him check & see wat he say.

I was there last Friday for full servicing. Mentioned to him this problem but he didn't say anything about needing to change the clutch plates. Maybe he thinks the plates are not that badly worn and can still hold on for awhile.

Think it might also be becos I was there for servicing pretty late in the evening. If he tells me this & that spoilt and needs to change he'll probably have to knock off very very late that day then...

Air filters , you can visually check.

depend on the road condition u're travelling.

advisable to check on interval oil change if possible.

not much hassle as it involve only 7 screws.

1 pcs air filter cost $18 at LAB.

take out your filter.

there will be some part that is clean as its blocked n not doing the filtering.

judge for yourself . see the difference.

if a little bit its okay.

too dirty, advisable to get it change.

if not u can just blow it with air gun at motordiam to prolong it

one more thing to add....

my air filter was very clean, but kena wet last time... (me lah, had to ride in heavy rain to get to work :weep: )... then power reduced dramatically... cannot even go more than 90km/h...

can see the color difference when compared with new...

PS. I changed my airfilter at Planet's for $15, somemore got free mini-lesson on maintainence of bike... :cheer: :cheer:

I have been riding TA200 for over a month. Initially, very difficult to kick to netural from 1st gear. After changing engine oil, this problem was solved. However, now keep getting netural when kicking from 1st to 2nd gear. What's the problem and solution. Thanks in advance.
