you mean,

1. second gear

2. clutch in

3. press start

4. throw clutch immediately?

you mean push start is it?

1) ignition on

2) engage second or third gear with clutch in all the way

3) push your bike for a distance (but fast abit, like run while pushing)

4) throw your clutch

5) (you will notice that your bike got the engine start effect) then immediatly clutch in and rev your throttle all the way dun close your throttle (to charge the batt)

*above method no need to push the engine start button and is best to find a slope like MSCP when you need to push start..cos "run" while pushing the bike inorder to successfully start the motor is quite hard...

Wheel bearings affect how smoothly your wheels rotate. If your steering is affected, it should be your steering cone and bearings there...not the wheel bearings.

steering cone as in which part?

Posted

haiya, you guys tc leh...wat internal strength la, this and that...hahaa

I can do it easily prolly cos I push start so many times till I become sorta "expert" at it loh. My ta150 seldom used, so, battery always kenna drained out, got to push start.

Hi PKs,

Wanna ask

1) when will I know if it's time to change my chain and sprocket wheel? coz I noticed that the nut to tighten my chain seems like it's been hammered towards the front to the max liao..

2) Which 'brand' of chain and sprocket wheel is better?

3) Is it better to change both at the same time?

4) And which workshop is good in the east side? Ah Koon there muz wait vv long.

Thanks lots! :)

If max liao means cannot be tightened anymore. Yes, a change is recommended.

2) Which 'brand' of chain and sprocket wheel is better?

A set of DID O-ring chain n sprocket should be sufficient for your needs.

3) Is it better to change both at the same time?

Normally, yes...most people do it that way. A sprocket hardly ever outlasts the 2nd chain even if it lasts the first. But it's not an absolute must do.

4) And which workshop is good in the east side? Ah Koon there muz wait vv long.

I=westsider...heh heh. Near the Safra there's this shop starting with 'Y' that I was pretty impressed with...

3) Is it better to change both at the same time?

rough guide for changing sprocket, as long as the teeths are like hooked or something like fire wheel...den u can change, esp front sprocket, for rear not so much of a prob la...rough guide is to change 1 time final drive and next change juz change e chain can le....

Ohh the nut is nearer to the front side of the bike.. does that mean long way to go?
