if u want the tires to cool down fast, water is a good option...but it has to be running water la...if not effect not there

 

best way is in the morning u go start ur bike that time, drop by the nearest kiosk and pump...more accurate that way

You learnt in sec school that matter contracts when its cold and expands when its warm right? This affects the tire pressure. The recommended tire pressure is always given as 'cold pressure' as the heat of the tire fluctuates depending on the weather, road surface, speed, acceleration, braking etc. Tires will not go to their optimal operating temperatures and stay there (ie when raining can forget about warm tires)...so it's very hard for ppl to give tire pressure recommendations based on 'warm pressure'...and we give it in cold pressure as it is more consistent.

oh yah, the wide handle bar is fine for me but it makes the side mirror too high & I cant adjust it to my liking... can I change the mirros to a shorter one?

let it cool takes some time, use water where he pump is.There is a Tap there where you can see some drivers using it to pour over their tyres I believe.Bro how have you been pumping your tyre??

Hi guys, was thinking of going down to planet to get these things done. May i know how much are these things gonna cost me per item?

 

1. Change EO Semi Syn

2. Check and top up brake fluid

3. Check and lub chain (tigthen if loose)

4. Check and change spark plug

5. Check and change brake pads

6. Check and change battery

7. Check and do any tuning if necessary

 

If other than change EO the rest just check only no need to replace, how much will i be charged just for the check.

 

If i reach there at abt 3pm is the waiting time very long?

 

Will it be better to get it done at ah koon? cause i actually west side heh..

yo guys!i wanna ask izzit true that new tyres got a layer of outer wax and it will tend to be more slippery on wet conditions??

 

i have been riding with my totally botak tyres since i got license..and its totally BOTAK..but i never skid or whatever **** before..but recently i go JB change the tyre for 135RM a taiwan brand tyre..the brand is something name nihill..not very sure..then my cb rear tyre cause my bike to spin 180 degree already!!

 

anyone know what the hell is the reason mannn!!??

new tyres have a coating yes.you never skid on your old pair because you never open throttle fast? or you just rode straight or turn slowly like a robot thats why? not a good comparison. Maybe you skid on your current one because its not warmed up? and your style of riding at that point of time caused it to happen perhaps? or its just not the kinda good compound for rain

1 km nia...no hard acceleration no hard braking ur tires will warm up till how hot nia? Even race tires when using tire warmers also need longer than the time taken to travel 1km la. This one no worries one.

Yes new tires are coated with a layer of wax. You'll need to ride for a bit (say 1 week?) before you can fully commit in corners and stuff...
