top up do it yourself man....there is thread in hands on which will show you how to do it....

on the other hand you want to change the brake fluid ...this may take more than 30 mins..well you pay for the fluid and labour...i supose you can work out what is a reasonable charge...

a better way is to share the cost of the brake fluid with several buddies doing diy...it is not advisable to keep the balance of the brake fluid for too long....

 

the last time i change front brake pad, change fluid and change the pump..

about $70 i think..

i am using 4T all the time...

anyway the maintenance manual calls for 4t..nothing mentioned for gear oil??

 

so what is gear oil..can show example of a commercial brand on this..thanks

4T is for 4 strokers, where the 4T circulates and lubricates all of the engine. For 2 strokers, 2T lubricates the top and you need gear oil to lubricate the bottom. Fuchs has gear oil for one. Many other brands.

where u did the change ar??i went down planet chong say pump is 85 liao lei...for the rear one. then u change so many stuff for 70 onli??advice plz..

oh so front is cheaper ah?the pump will affect the strongness of the brake izit?my rear can brake la but chong say pump spoil le...then say must change.

ya..the pump is where th hydraulic pressure i being generated..

so if pump leak or damaged hydaulic presuure not strong enough to stop bike at higher speed...this one must change...safety first..

cost diff maybe the rear brake is bigger...more fluid..etc...every thing more..even the brake pad is bigger..

the total bill is $150...this include the front fork seal, front wheel bearins..EO and plug change..

went HL moto for quotation on TA but was told that TA 200 stopped PRODUCTION. can someone confirm?

gears may need replacing...check if it's happening across every gear or only in a certain gear...if the former it's your clutch plate slipping...if its the latter its your gears

 

Anyone knows the cost of replacing..

 

a Choke cable?

 

and the connecting wires to the battery?
