You can try Yishun industrial. My sis got her ET8 sprayed there, one color for $150. Real cheap and workmanship is satisfactory.

Spray the whole bike huh? But do they spray box only? I was going to spray my box only lay.....hmm

talking of box? anyone knows how to secure a helmet box.. cos mine helmet box can move easily as the base plate is not one piece by itself..

Yup, custom made metal is NOT cheap.

I had my rack custom made to fit an x9 box at Seng Kwang and it cost me $180. But quality can't be beat anywhere else and has a lifetime guarantee.

My bro-in-law had two pieces of metal attached to his rack to stabalise it cos the old nut broke into his fairing. cost him $40, also at Seng Kwang.

I sold my old GIVI 45L box with a metal base plate (yes..it is DAMN sturdy) for only $135.

Try asking at ASPhoon. They should have it.

go to ASPhoon, tell them u want a metal rack that fits a phantom for your box (its a single integrated piece instead of left one piece right one piece)

they should have it, cos my metal rack came together with the bike when I bought it from ASPhoon (Changi)

Anybody tried grounding your TA before ?

Understand that grounding will be more efficient on bigger cc bikes, but I'm just curious on what effect will it have on TA200. Maybe I shall try and DIY one day, but before that ust to check if anyone who has did it ?

heya ppl,

just got my phantom like a week ago.. just wondering anyone here pump octane 91 petrol? cos the manual says to pump 91 and abv....

and then i read this article (cant remember from where) which says pumping higher octane petrol than ur vehicle can handle (grade specified in manual) is a waste of money because the machine cant utilise the extra power higher octane petrol provides. In other words ur paying more for higher grade petrol which gives identical performance. pumping lower grade petrol on the other hand will harm the engine as the fuel will ignite in the piston before it has been fully compressed.

So my qn is since the manual says to pump 91 and above doesn't it mean 91 95 98 will give no added performance? mebbe its (the performance boost) all just in the mind?

Posted

SG min is RON92.

sufficient for the bike to run smoothly.

High grade and more expensive petrol better ?

up to individual.

Normal RON92 in sg to me i think will be sufficient to my TA.
