And today has to go do Apheresis Donation liao. Maybe will eat the steak to 'bor' tomorrow.

i just had pepper lunch yesterday. the big rib eye steak with rice set.. woohoo.. poweer! so soft and succulent, the steak was medium done and the fat & blood that got cooked along with the tasty butter, it made a tasty sauce indeed. i dumped my rice over the hot plate to soak up all that juice and daaamned, last time i had steak this good, it was at twice the price.

I went to have the Ribeye X-cut from Aston's Prime at Centre Point just now. Pretty good! Comes with 2 side dishes, and it was a mouthful. Huge servings! Recommended to try!

it's been a long time since i had a solid good steak! Mouth watering as i read though.

 

my personal favorites:

1) Black Angus :thumb: :thumb: down by Orchard Parade Hotel - everything's great! a bit pricey dou

 

2) jack's place :thumb: :thumb: - love the potato and value for money, dun go during valentines coz they have this STUPID misconception that EVERYBODY wanna eat the same thing on V-day, and u CANNOT order others.

 

 

 

I like eating 'em with red wine dou im an epic failure at drinking, and dunno anything abt red wine except "thin & sour" and "thick and mildly bitter". :lol: Now that im riding, haben been going for the combi of late..

I was looking for steak and wine/beer/alcohol last night.

 

Didnt manage to have any. But we walked past a basement cafe type shop at Central Mall, and there is one stall that seems to be selling raw steaks and cooked steak. Price is $28.90 for two persons, can have two main course.

 

I didnt read it too much, cos I was more interested to see how the shop that has live demo of how they make the sweets. I think the sweet shop name is 'Sticky'.

 

Who might want to try the steak at basement of Central Mall?

I went to eat at Amirah's Grill located just two shops away from Kampong Glam Cafe near Bussorah Street last Tuesday. There is steak on the menu but I opted for the set meal for $25++ instead which is a good deal cos for that price I got the following :-

 

1) hummus (not sure what it is but quite tasty)

2) mushroom soup

3) pita and garlic bread

4) iced coffee

5) main course (I got the mixed grilled kebab with rice)

6) single scoop of ice cream

 

I was really full after the meal. The food is good so I was rather curious as to why there weren't any other customers except for my friends and I...

The ambiance is definitely Mediterranean and the food served is just that with a Western menu available as well...
