anyone knows if the bike wash at GP is still in operation?

I have very oily and dirty swingarm and rims for washing. Not really concerned about polishing on painted parts but I do want a clean bike. Any recommendation?

I also need to search for local professional bike grooming services. Anyone can recommend? I asked Ju**wh33ls before, seemed a bit expensive. I am riding a FZ6N.

Thanks.

Ok, I don't mean dirt cheap like $7 or $8. Maybe around $40 for a CL2 bike??

Reason for looking local is because due to family commitments and part-time studies, I cannot travel to JB for bike wash.

Thank you.

Harro fellow bros... paiseh never reply to the thread, hahaha... busy busy at work. Anyways, i won't travel to JB alone, cos i dunno the roads there and i heard quite a lot of stories, so would really prefer to go in a group. Safety first, if not tio dai ji liao then hong kan liao...

In any case, RUDY is BACK IN BUSINESS! He SMSed me like 2 weeks ago to say he resuming his service, so i quickly fix an appointment with him.

My first impression of Rudy is that he is definitely one person who knows his stuff, judging from the products he uses, to the way he assesses your bike to check for scratches to fill up and heavy grease to clean up etc. He told me the process would take 3-4hrs, and suggested i go tampines mall relax, but i decided to stay to see how he cleans the bike, cos sure got things to learn.

The way he cleans your bike, is really super meticulous. He will really use a brush to clean the hard to reach areas. He starts from the rims, to the chain, then the engine area. Then he starts cleaning the fairings and everything else, and i mean EVERYTHING else. 3.5hrs of hard work and 3 layers of wax and polishing of the shiny metal areas later, my SP has a shine that i have never seen before.

Seriously, this guy's washing and polishing services is worth it at $45 for the high definition package. The amount of effort that he puts in, the great service, the high end products that he uses.... I would consider it a robbery already. So bros and sis, if you all go to him, and find that he does a great job, feel free to give the hardworking man a tip. I did. and i will definitely go back regularly. Cheers all.

RIDE.

Just tried Shell along Paya Lebar Road in front of Certis Cisco building, near Paya Lebar flyover.

$8 for muddy scrambler after trail - includes spray, foam wash & drying.

Open 24 hours.

Quite good service at 11:30pm - took about 15min for 2-person team to wash.

Another team of 2 person had washed 4 cars already before mine is done.

Good service with wiping of individual spokes (not sure if they do it in busy day time though)
