You are right ! Normal tyres 'sucks' big time. I am also hoping to get the famous Dunlop TT 9000 tyres but no idea how good it is.

Money is also another problem....

I fall down twice on the factory stock tyres. What lousy tyres they give me. I change already to soft compound tyres. Works wonderful. Grip even on rainy days.

Description : Changing block and piston

********************************************************************

Any of u guys change piston and block before ? I suspect dat my wave-s have to go for a minor operation soon. Just took the bike from an idiot who have never did any servicing to the bike.

Changed my engine oil the other day and I was shocked dat there's only a few drops left. Thank god I went straight to the workshop before doing anything. After the mechanic had poured the whole bottle in, there's white smoke coming out from the pipe now. Dats a sign of unhealthiness too rite. Was told by my friend the mechanic shouldnt have poured the whole bottle in and he said not to worry coz it will "eat up" the engine oil sooner or later. Just leave it. Is it true ?

Need ur feedback as I'm almosts clueless rite now. I need trusted workshops too. How abt those in JB ? Is it trustworthy. Thanks for any inputs.

My advise is to change to 'soft' compound tyres to avoid further future skidding. Take care bro.

which stock tyres u referring to? issit the irc ones?

No it's the Dunlop D104 i think. Forget the model liao. What i remember it's DUNLOP. I skidded twice on the tyres. First on front wheel. I change the front only. Then after some time one day i was on the way to work on a rainy day. When i turn right at the traffic light the back tyre skid and bring my bike turn and turn 360 degress. Lucky i put down both my legs. After dat day I change the back tyre and i know dat the original tyres dunlop dat honda give me r lousy.

Description : Need help with Wave 125 R

********************************************************************

ENGINE OIL

I just bought a new wave 125 R, but I'm not too sure of maintaining it. In a week, I travel about 130 to 150 km. So how often do I change engine oil? And what's the best brand to use for my kind of usage? Should I use synthetic or semi-synthetic engine oil? Since it's a new bike, how many km must I travel before I change the engine oil for the first time?

SERVICING

What is the servicing payments like? Besides changing brakepads and all, what else must I service?

Please let me know.

Thanks people

Cheers,

Gurd
