is float disc gd??? e flower 1~

"flower" disc depend on type of metal used for heat resistant under repeated hard braking, most importantly the size of the holes cannot be too big , the surface area mus be big enough for good braking..

from wat i hear that those flower disc from malaysia isnt very good , worse than original ...and it isnt floating disc.. floating means the brake pins can move a bit(vibrate) to push the brake piston back .. real full/semi floating is ard $380-$450 depending on brands... galfer $380 , braking $430

if wan budget can try Gold fren wavey (non floating) quite cheap and good but i find it heat up too easily to very high temperature under hard braking but under rainin conditions also quite good... should be more than enough for x-1 ..

unlike full round disc , wavey disc also has a slicing braking effect (slicing the brake pad) dur to numerous sharp edges , could cause some unstability(jerking) when jam ebrake for cubs..

Yeah, it's good.

Good to see, but not good to use. :cheeky:

I heard ALOT of bad reviews about those wavey / flower disc in Malaysia. Don't change that la.

I changed brakehose to improve braking.

If you want, maybe can change brake pads also.

Hi seniors,

Please advice

I got the yamaha vehicle warranty booklet. It say free service no1 for 1000 kilometers. This coupon entitles you to free adjustment and lubrication service. Oil, grease and other materials supplied are chargeable.

May I know the engine oil got charge ?

Anyone have been to this yamaha service centre and do servicing before?

mine for other yamaha bike

true its free servicing.. as in they check ur tyre pressure.. coolant and such see if enough or not

but for engine oil if u wan change muz pay $$ and they only have shell i think

before going down u muz make an appointment first but expect a good wait coz they would take their time doing the servicing

my worst experience with them... changing a RIM coz my rim got hole.. took me almost 6 hours for them to change

I m using wavey , its shitty stuff, can't brake for sh*t.. need real hard pumping on the brakes to stop the bike... 9/10 for looks. 0/10 for praticability.

Jingle>> got , use the bicycle kind.. thats digital.
