multiple abrasion and a few bruises, which the doc deems it as minor injury... so no MC lor.

 

i was lucky lah... i think i was hit almost like how chip was hit the other time. but i am thankful for my gloves and full face helmet. the only thing is if i had gotten the riding jacket which i wanted, i would have stand up and gave that driver a real piece of my mind.

 

and there goes my 4 mth old bike and 2 yrs of clean record... sigh.

thanks... i myself is thankful that i am not seriously injured. but my bike's right side is gone. and its really expensive and troublesome to repair a maxi scoot... although everything can be claimed which i am sure of it. but it will not be the same ride again...

i know its getting off topic. but i got second thoughts on riding. i have been a safety rider for so long, and with this incident, my parents who have been keeping quiet for so long, voiced out strongly about me riding.

 

i am feeling very depressed and dejected now. and i might be stopping riding for sometime. firstly, i lost my confidence totally and secondly, i really can't bring myself to let my parents worry for me each time i go riding. like that i also won't be able to enjoy it knowing they are at home waiting for me to return safely.

 

talk about passion and responsibility. i am torn between them. sigh... it had been a torrid time for me...

it is tru such events that really you'll feel the love from your parents...

 

you can stop riding for a while... but its hard to STOP riding completely...

 

esp when its tough to own cars in singapore and you're unwilling to forgo sleep time to take public transport.

btw.. i shall requote the example i always use...

 

a few years back, some drunkard drove into a busstop.. and killed 7 people...

 

a few months back, a shophouse burnt down and 2 person died while trying to escape from their house which is 1 level up the burning shophouse.

 

so... take bus also die... stay at home also die...
