How much are these fans? I'll sponsor 1, any other takers? the chairs are dirt cheap... I'm not going to drive up and miss a ride tho, probably better to buy in PG somewhere?

Bro.. thank you for ur offer.. I belive there is others dat are like u ,who dont mind to contribute... But, it is just a little bit improper to do dat.. We, as the regular patrons of Johor Circuit shud at least be appriciated by the management and they shud take our reasonable request seriously to show thier gratitude to us for our continuous support.

 

We shall all keep requesting for it, at least for now.. :thumb:

Yeah fair enough, But I'm not sure how profitable these guys would be? when they have expenses, they would be massive and it looks like they have already deferred maintenance. the last thing we want is for them to go out of business, they need to make money for us to be able to ride.

Wow, great to see someone generous enough to actually buy a fan from their own pocket! Kudos to you! Maybe I will sponsor airconditioning for the pits!!! Muah ah ah!!!

 

However, I agree with DOL... Singkiwi, dont take this the wrong way...

 

In my opinion, there has been a increase in turnout of riders in recent times, which means more revenue for PG. I think that it would be best for us to ASK PG for fans, chairs & the like as these are BASIC neccesities that should be provided. They fact that they have deffered maintenance does not neccessarily mean that they are not earning enough to do it, but may also be that they are spending the revenue on something else.

 

Think about it, it costs millions to resurface the track, which would take years to get... it is something that it much easier said than done...

 

I think that the short term gain would be great if someone (like you) bought a fan, but looking further ahead, we would not want PG to become reliant on us to provide our own ancilliaries in the future. Fans are not a luxury but a basic amenity, especially in our humid climate, which I feel PG should cater for.

 

So,

 

Why dont we all mention the lack of these everytime we go to PG? Especially on Trackdays...

 

Uncle Syed will of course NOT appreciate us nagging him and using sarcastic "reverse psychology", but I think that he would seriously consider and give it a priority if we ALL mentioned it...

 

What say you??

Guy do you see raptor's siggy, his exhaust got the Exhaust protector. Maybe we can ask him to MO for us guys who interested for getting for our Sportbikes, if you are willing raptor. Just a query, you need not be compelled to get it if you find it troublesome. Cos few guys like amba, me and others are interested in getting it for the R6 06

Since there will be a Track Day dis weekend, i sincerely hope dat u guys will confront the chinese lady in the track office to request for the FANS.. I was there last sunday and they still havent get it.. Spoke to Syed and he said the chinese lady is in-charge.. I again spoke to the chinese lady and she seems like not taking it seriously.. :(

 

Since i cant be there, Amba can u head this up..

i hope there will be fans. but everyone do take note. on the 12th August track day, i spotted alvin kok(jun jie) on the track. he was doing alot of laps. and when he pit, he didnt even remove his suit but hydrating all the time. he was really training.
