hello,

 

anyone can teach me how to replace the retifier of our CB400 ??

under the seat... can't seem to get the screw out....

:confused: rectifier under the seat? thought that rectifier is above the mid part exhaust?

correct lah.. under the seat compartment above the mid pipe.. near the swingarm link..

 

try spraying some WD40 before screwing it..

the problem is i can't get a number 10 to fit in there.. do i need to remove anything first??

 

or you guys just directly screw it out ?

u need a ratcher (spelling maybe wrong) with a 5cm extension to the number 10. u will be able to reach it.

if u need help, let us know again. depending on area. i am sure there are someone who can help u.

hi biting_point, u gt hid install on ur s4? hope u can share more on how the installation.. does it require cutting of stock wire or juz plug n play? :thumb:

dun need any cutting unless u wan to do an on off switch for the hid. else it will be plug and play.

normal spanner is too long, and will block the turning.. a rachet might do the job, like quizesilver says..

yupz no cutting of wires.. all just plug and play..

 

difficult part is arranging the wires neatly that's all..

hey guys, i was just wondering if a spec 3 the glass assembly can fit into a spec 1 head assembly. Not the whole thing but only the glass part which u take out to change headlight. My friend might be selling me just the glass part.

sorry to disappoint you.. you cant fit the Spec3 glass into the Spec1 black assembly.. as spec1 uses 3 screws, spec3 one uses two, top is a catch..

 

come to think of it, if try to fit a spec1 glass assembly on to a spec3 one might be able to..

need help.. thinking of installing a switch for my low bean.. so tat my passing light will still work when i off the low bean.. any guys can guide on which colour wire to strip? thx! :thumb:

:help: :help: need some detail for Vtec 1

Pls give the actual sizing ( mm or inches) of the following.

i have a wrench so just need to purchase nut sockets for DIY.. :angel:

 

1. Socket sizing for spark plug ( is it 16 socket)

2. Rear wheel axle nut sizing.
