i am also using NUI racing footrest, cost more than $200 about $250 there about..definately worth e price man... got it imported from thailand.

1.85 front n 2.5 rear. both can put 90/80 ?

 

will 1.85 be too small for 90/80/ ? too Fat for rim ?

My frend changed to Racing Boy rims with rear brake disc conversion for 650RM.

Hmm tick tick tick sound can be caused by a number of factors it seems...

the logic is that the market for small tyres are so small that tyre manufacturers don't bother with them. the smallest bt39ss for rear use is 120/80. it's considered big for even a SP. and waves use like 80/90 or 90/80 or 100/60 or 80/80 which is like so small!

 

anyway there is a new tyre up for sale in JB called DURO having exactly the same thread as bt39, anyone tried it yet any reviews?

yes, there is 120/70, but for front use only. imo, 110/70 gives better speed/pickup and slightly better handling at corners than 120/70

the previous time when i had a tyre puncture he personally came down to replace my inner tube for me

took him slightly over an hr to reach city area from woodlands + get everything fixed up

if he ask who recommended u...u can give him my number 91707654

i find him a friendly chap + he charges reasonably

 

when tow truck companies were like quoting me minimum $25 to tow my bike from the place where my tyre got punctured to any motordiam of my preference for repairs, Ah Lai charged me $25 to get the inner tube replaced on the spot.

 

saved me the trouble of having to travel home using public transport (as it was already ard 7pm & most motordiams will be closed by the time the tow truck gets there)

moreover, if my bike gets tow to motordiam means on top of towing charges, i need to pay an unknown amount for inner tube replacement

Jus wanna know how much is the reccommended air pressure for the tyres.

 

I pump 225KPa front and 250KPa for rear cos i saw those numbers written on the swingarm with some thai words.

That ok... but if u want better grip u can try 200 front & 220 ..

 

Mine is 190 front & 200 rear... it a bit soft but good for cornering..

 

Pls take note, pressure cant be too soft else u will wobbly when corner...

That DURo brand SG has it..

 

Near BT. panjang... look almost exactly the same as Battlax..

 

One of my malay fren has a punctured tyre, so he just went to nearby shop to change it. Tt uncle said good & cheap.. so my fren tried for 1 or 2 weeks...and fell at petrol Kiosk.. not due to oil or petrol on e surface .. it e Tyre. Cant even have a grip wothout pillion...
