where to get those tyres?? r they gd?

Michellin is a generally a good brand, even with their tires made in thailand, it will be still good. Its one of the brands that i have seen a 100/80 to be fitted into cub's 17inch rims.

Place that are selling are Unique Motorsports and Bikeworkz to my knowledge.

Price: $130 a pair include installation.

Mileage? normally it lasts about 5-6 months if you travel about 2000k -3000k mileage a month.

100/80 tyres are really huge for cubs...

i've never scruntunised cubs OTR before for the 10mm difference lah.. but its not common to sport 100mm rears.

100/80? it can fit lah, i mean in philippines, they favor using fat tyres, compared to us here who like me prefer skinny tires. all in all, fitting a 100/80 tyre also depends how wide your rims ar. hahaha

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

Thats true, but i guess it will affect your top speed and pick up.

icic, that means mus change wider rims inorder to fit the 100 tyres ah

Rims is stock 17inch.!

of course rim is 17inch diameter lah....

we're talking about width... stock SHOULD be 1.2 and 1.4...

those 8-spoke rims SHOULD be 1.4 and 1.6...

i believe only those can fit 100mm tyres...

Hi all,

do tubeless tyres need to be pumped air regularly? or is it ok to not pump air unless we "feel" the tyre to be soft/pancit? If air needs to be pumped in, how regularly should it be done i.e. weekly etc?

Thanks.

Hi, I had a doubt abt my tires. Both my front and rear tires often get deflated a bit a few days after I pump air to it and pump till it very hard. Normally, the tires will loses the pressure and cannot feel the hardness after a week. Wat's the cause of this and the tires i using are tubeless for sport rims. My front tire is 6 mths old and rear is 1 yr old....both looks still in good condition. Thanks

u must be using dunlop tt900? hard compound. thats quite long for u to use tyres? i suggest a change?, cos i get that too. my front tyre using almost a year, changing very soon. cos it looks okay. but it may be uneven.

Ya, my front tyre is tt900 and rear is irc gold series. So which type of tyres u recommend for front and rear? I saw a few bikes on the road the tyres which look quite thin unlike mine so thick. Is that gd as well? thanks

thin, okay ah u'll feel slightly lighter, better pickup... but u can forget abt diving at corners. can... but u gotta have the balls to do it. heh. i'd recommend battlax or tt900. stick to same tyres for front and back.
