Ya, eletric start!

But hor i tink can or cannot start is not due to the petrol! As i hear frm some bikers they say, carb bike press/kick start den must throttle abit.

As for injection bike jus press/kick will do...

(correct me if i.m wrong) :cheer:

Your name of Yibin has many sterling qualities but does not give you an overall stability. You do everything with an intensity to the point of fervour, and either you feel tremendous elation or you are in the depths of despair. People often disappoint you because you are idealistic and are apt to place those whom you admire on a pedestal. Then you become disillusioned when they fall short of your expectations. You are quick mentally and like to see things moving at an accelerated pace. Patience is not one of your virtues; you want to move when the impulse strikes you. While such spontaneity is fine at times, you must take account of conditions and employ careful analysis so as to avoid disastrous results such as accidents due to hasty actions. Most things you do, you do well, but as soon as the task, hobby, or job becomes familiar or routine, you are bored and crave a change.

talking abt the clutch thingy

i realised for X1 w/ clutch

when engine die off w/ gear engaged

u cant simply clutch in and kickstart one

unlike other conventional clutch bikes :giddy:

X1 w/o clutch comes with Electric start and Kick start

X1 with clutch comes with Kick start only.

i also thinks that petrol is not the reason for not being able to start the bike. its the spark plug cable, spark plug or when u clutch in(for x1 with clutch).

manual system:

close throttle > clutch in > change gear

semi-auto clutchless system:

close throttle > change gear

theres no power lost for semi-auto system

in fact semi-auto system also can so called achieve the clutch-in effect by depressing or lifting the gear lever all the way upwards or downwards

which system to choose depends on individuals

for those pple who are smokers and frequent JB

semi-auto clutchless is wonderful cause u can move and stop with one hand during jams and the other hand can hold cigarette or SMS :p

whereas for pple like me who always pillion and hence have problem going upslopes..having a clutch to play ard and keep me occupied suits me better

fuel consumption much better

i travel on expressway alot

last time i get 30+KM/litre for KRR then now its 50Km/litre

installed a rear box for my KRR last time

now also have box on X1

so not much difference for storage

power & speed wise of course X1 lose out

i used to cruise ard 90kmph on KRR now i scared will overwork my X1 so i cruise at 85kmph :cheeky:

riding a cub is definitely a gd experience

be it whether u intend to ride for long or intend to upgrade nxt time :thumb:

Topic : Cub...

Description : Clutch or clutchless?

********************************************************************

I wonder y some pple prefer a cub with clutch. I deciding on a cub but unsure whether to get one with or without a clutch...

Clutch

Pros: Faster. More control over speed.

Cons: More parts which may be spoilt. Need to use the other hand so not very relaxed.

Clutchless

Pros: Relax. Lesser parts that might get damaged.

Cons: Not too much control over speed? Might forget using a clutch next time?

Pls enlighten me on ur choice and your reason?

Thanks.

So long only one reply...

How come you prefer clutch? Just a personal preference or because there are somethings you can do with a clutch bike that a clutchless cannot do?

like u say more control over the speed, changing of gear faster on different road condition and also because hav another bike with clutch.

I find the more important part is the shift direction. I hate the fact that the clutchless bikes shift in the opposite direction to normal bikes. Whenever I go Thailand and rent a wave I keep shifting the wrong way. :p
