should i claim or not claim insurance? driver want me to pay $380 bucks for his bumper and spray..

 

 

keep on insisting somemore..

 

 

1 year riding = 10% NCD

 

so i claim= no more 10%

 

10% of 780 is only $70++ DOLLARS..

 

 

 

the thing was so serious cause the driver and i also head strong. Both don't wanna be the loser.

ask him not to BS with you la... he langa from behind obviously is his fault. he want fight also confirmed he lose. not only NCD gone but also your insurance premium will rise next year he claimed from you. i will suggest getting someone more experienced in these kind of matters to accompany you to talk some sense into him. seriously, don pay him. Is his own fault and he trying to push the blame entirely to you? c**ked up person. :dozed: i think you should claim him instead. teach him a lesson. :thumb:

 

i hoped you made a police report within 24 hours of the accident? if not, things will get kinda tricky...

becareful of such a person. he confirm peng wei (twist his words) and try to make it sound like it is your fault in order to sucessfully make a claim from you. i hope u did make a police report within 24 hours of the accident.

 

 

 

 

dunno leh, raining now and sky still so dark. don feel like going out.... haha.

Joshua, from what you have told me there is no way it is your fault. If he wishes to claim against your insurance let him try. Just be sure to report the incident within 24 hours of it's occurrence. Make it abundantly clear that both vehicles were stationary and it was him who moved off without bothering about your presence.

There's a first time for everything. He wants to settle privately because he knows he probably won't get anything if he tries to claim from your insurance. Just tell him that you're nice enough not to claim against him and he should be thankful for that.

i bet he is trying hard to convince you to settle privately cos im sure he know if he wanna claim your insurance he will fail and if you decide to claim his insurance you will succeed and he will end up paying more for his insurance next year. stand firm to your decision and he will waver soon enough. play this psychological battle with this bozo. maybe he saw you pplate and think u might be a noob and blur blur about such things and just agree to his requests to avoid further trouble.

 

if i were in your position, i will be harsh to him after trying to talk some sense into him and yet he still insist on settling privately to cough up the cash. ask him go fly kite la... :lol: :bouncefire:

is riding boots water proof? or at least water will not enter in when riding?

and how much is it for a avg pair?

although I simply use gortex boots that I purchase using saf credits... :clap:

you would need to go with someone who have closer ties to the shop... to get a better price...

$100 pair sure have, but not every single one is water proof.

Check at the counter before buying.

 

And they usually last only 1 year or so before water gets in.

Longest ever by another friend is 3 years, but he Kiwi the boots after every use one... :cheeky:
