[Blahhh]

How did the cub grown taller? Guess it must have taken it's vitamins everyday

i saw a Cub(confirmed) brand SYM. I dont know SYM do Cub.

 

The look really like scramble style especially the front fork.Small tyres..but the rear is normal hight. That bike is yellow with box located in Alexandra hospital carpark.

it depends on style of mod...

 

lesser gears means closer gear ratio...

 

more low-mid band power...

 

probably he liked the idea of quartermile race..

Hi dude, thanks for answering, but Why will lesser gears have closer gear ratios??

 

The gear ratio is up to the tuner to set, which means, I can have a super far gearbox that spans over 6 gears, or I can have a super close 6 gears. If you have only 4 gears, either you have to space it out reallly far apart so that it'll have both pick-up and topspeed; or you set everything either high, or low (if its close ratio). If you set it high, then the first gear will be super high. If you set them low, then you'll have no topspeed, cos the 4th gear will still be low.

 

So what manufacturer do is to have a low 1-3 gears. And leave the 4th gear high. SO that its more like an 'overdrive' gear whereby its only useful for cruising at a lower rpm. Downside of this is that most engines can't pull the 4th gear as its too far aprt. Hence rpm drops tremendously upon reaching the top gear, and thus causing weak performance when switching from 3rd to 4th.

 

Drag bikes have less gears because they live life 1/4 mile a time. Gear shifts cost time. And their bikes have enuff power to pull anything. FYI, Trial bikes also have 4 gears. So does some MX-er. Cos they are only intended for only the low spectrum of speeds.

 

FYI too, gearing doesn't make more low-mid range power. Its the tuning/ set up of the engine that makes the power where its intended.

my advise is pls get ur licence before u even think of riding...

 

secondly get to know ur bike before u even think of speed..meaning get the feel of teh stock bike once u can ride it smootn know the gear ration, wat gear to corner perfectly den think of upgrading..

 

thridly pls dont mod to the extend cos our bike is a small cc biek it cannot witstand mod which are amazingky crazy liek for eg u suse a 60mm piston on the road,change gear box,chaneg cdi,change eveything..

 

cos in track bike is use onli for a certain time after that they open up the engine and check for thinsg need to be change.. or best of all overhaul after every race..

 

last but not least pls listen to bengiun cos he's the racer for SBF and have race in diff parts of the world.. and he will know wats best for u...

i don think so.. i saw is yellow de.. park @ T12 there.. got thai words behind ... below the plate no. was curious cos it is taller.. i oso wan my bike taller cos can get bigger tire.. currently.. my tire.. quite small even though is my bike's biggest le..

 

it lacks of height to go another level of size.. haha... ASPmonk.. u riding yellow cub issit? i saw 1 @ lib. dat day...
