whre can i do the job such as removing the restrictor from the header? and how much??

by right, Yoshi does recommend to change the fibre wool inside..

i dun think locally we had this service..

 

if you wanna alter the sound, it's the long baffle core inside the pipe.. by drilling bigger holes will have louder sound..

 

Change the fibre wool will become louder? Last time i went SengKwang, they told me my yoshi sound become louder due to dunno wat wat inside become hard liao? Izzit fibre wool they mentioned? If yes, they do provide the svc changing the fibre wool leh, cost ard $80 buck.... :dot:

haha.. yes, the fibre wool will be cum hard if u neva change it, and changing it doesnt make it louder, in fact vice versa.. it makes it softer. This is my understanding thru 2B 2 stroke bikes. Coz my 125z i had to stuff lots of wool to make it silent to pass inspection. heh~

 

anyways, if we intend to mod anythg on the muffler, we have to open the rivot on our pipes?

If your changing the fibre wool then need to open the rivets. Easy job just drill off the old rivets. From what i know yoshi recommends to repack its exhaust endcan every certain mileage.

My guess it will be too loud bro. Might as well you get a bamboo pole and stick up as an endcan. As for will it affect your engine?..It will your engine will run leaner a/f ration due to lesser backpressure. Anything needs to do with altering back pressure needs to rejet the carb or at least retune.

do the appropriate tuning den it shd be fine.. otherwise the engine might run too lean n cause engine problems..

If you or the bikeshop mech retune it perfectly then it wont do any harm.

i just called seng kwang and he say tat header got no restrictor to remove lei?? then y alot ppl sae header gt restrictor to remove so tat can make our yoshi more loud..i riding spec 3 with yoshi endcan btw..wanna make loud by mod the header..bt shocked to hear header gt no restrcitor to remove..ahaha

Hello Yoshi users, just wanna know if Honda RVF street legal Yoshi endcan can be fitted onto Super4 Vtec1 and whether it can pass inspection.. What the owner told me is possible but the emblem will be facing inwards though... Anyone can help? Tks in advance...

from my limited knowledge, the cert states its for cb400/cbr400.. rvf is a different model. you might want to call up motoworld and ask, or alternatively call your preferred workshop and see if anything can be done...

5) after going for inspection at e.g vicom, a cert will b given..cost of inspection bout $50+..
