To me, HJC is the best brand for budget helmets. For HJC CL-series helmet, it costs between 100 - 150...

Most popular budget helmet in the world, no less...

Argh shucks...I can't seem to find it anywhere in SG...does anyone know where I could start looking?

Hey, as a matter of a fact, I went there to find something else, and coincidentially I stumbled on the array of HJC helmets on display. The saleslady quoted me the price and I was all :lovestruck: :thumb:

How much Does it cost for a Full-face helmet?_?

Does it look weird riding a 2b wearing a full-face:cheeky:

Might look weird, but who cares? People cant see your face also =)

Anyway i'm also interested in HJC full-face. Got time go Motoworld together want?

anyone knows the price of a HJC full face flip up?

how does it compare to the zeus flip up?

thanks..

HJC flip up at least 200 bucks. I think i saw 1 selling @ $240. HJC is DOT and SNELL approved but i don't think ZEUS got SNELL cert. But of cos, ZEUS should be cheaper.

But hey, flip up where got good? Imagine the part protecting your jaw flip up during a crash (TOUCH WOOD), won't it be the same as open face?

Bro,

HJC CL-Max helmets are only $150... $140 if you know the salesman. I got 2 at home. The one you saw at $240 is the Sy-Max, which is the higher end version.

I agree that there is risks when wearing a flip-up but it's definitely much better than wearing an open face. I've personally witnessed a very, very bad accident where the rider was flung head first into the windscreen of his bike before being thrown backwards. He was wearing the Nolan N101E flip-up and even though the helmet was flipped up during the impact, he had nary a scratch on his face.... I'd bet you that if he was wearing an open face, he'd have a bloodied face and would probably be unconscious....
