today, while riding past a pacik...along upp thosom road.. was question by him on my e-can... and on bike mod..

he just simply ask.. your bike mod stuff but do your dare to race. if you win in a race.. is it because of your bike performace good or the rider got a big ball to risk his life in a race?? if so wat for mod? anyone could answer this ???

 

and off he goes with his stock version S (white)..

i suspect this pakcik was a "racer" during his teens and as life goes on, he eventually have to deal with responsibilities, work and family. Thus, he can't help but compare to his older days, when he sees a member of the younger generation blasting down upp thompson on his 400cc bike..

 

Either he thinks the younger generation nowadays is "kental" (malay for weak) compared to his', or he is just envious he no longer have the freedom to ride around without thinking of responsibilities.

 

Dun let the pakcik bother u lah.. my SGD0.02 cents

shd he change his way of asking? y r there so many riders who wanna mod their bike? wat is the reason of modding? is it to push the bike faster, follow the crowd, or just beautify but not for riding fast?

 

so mod the bike, rider not skillful, bike still fast? or mayb stock bike, skillful, but still slow?

anyway, personally i think mod is fetish.

i mod my spec3 too.. but not to the intend of racing or for performance, i just like to spend my cash and see it grow.. i have not went beyond 130kmh before also

s4 is normal like a relax bike...but some make it until like racing sia

my bike condition and apperance is worse than his, just a yoshi e-can old model still... he high rev at me before he speed off loh.. he stop by my side and see yoshi .. upz with his conversation loh.. i can say he is really good at skill.. mid age of 40 ++,speed off play three lane left to right right to left griding his foot rest 5 times... he can really spark it up boy....

pacik, kalau awak nanpak msg ini.. upz to you...

And i thought a rider of his age and stature would be more mellow

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

both play a part and location.... play in orchard is who dare win, play straight road then i would say performace.

You see his Ver S stock ? haha :cheeky: What he mod inside you also dunno .. Think He mod more worst then everybody here... Outlook look like original.. but inside he mod engine , piston , no air-filter , sprockets, downfork etc. ... Outlook look like original just to fool ppl ... think anyone can blow him? but when comes to racing with his skills + performance modding then he most likely to win.. Fast rider needs good skills and eyesight but also need a fine tune, well maintain , decent modding , excellent bike handling tune and responsive bike to show his skills... :cheeky:

Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.

The thing is.. Those who really got some "real substance" dun behave like this on the road. Those who talk a lot, act a lot, show off a lot, usually dun have that much real stuff in them, generally speaking. I wouldn't be impressed by someone who rides like that on the streets. He doesn't deserve any respect, because what he is doing is illegal, is not sensible and gives others a bad impression of bikers. It would be different if it was on the track. Thumbs down to the old man, trying so hard to impress youngsters at his age.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

I feel that mayb the pacik nt in a gd mood that day. Haha..

 

Most ppl feel that bikers ar road hazardz (althou we noe that itz the driver that makes the diff, cos sm drive their cars like they own the rd). What the pacik did only proves them rite. Thumbs up 4 the stunts n tricks, but.. on a public rd? Hv u considered abt other rd users? Even if u dun hurt others, u might hurt urself. No matter hw skillful a rider, a simple misjudgement iz all it takes 4 an accident 2 happen.

 

Next time u meet that pacik, kindly tell him 2 head down 2 the race tracks b4 he does his stunts..

 

As 4 mod, itz 4 personal preferrence. Nt all mods ar 4 better HP. U can get better suspensions, brakes, belly pans... Even ur e-cans, sm ppl just like their bike 2 sound that way.

a p-plater riding a KRR bike ever blow at me and an old timer with a nicely done up Fazer bike had done the same to me too ...

my view is mod is for urself, like endcan i like that sound suspensions is showa not that good as for brakes is for my life.. as other thing is look good..
