Personal reasons dude. Also, i may want to get myself a car sometime in the near future. Right now i've already played around with the bike so i've had my fair taste of class 2 bike. Maybe if in future i got spare change i'll get myself back onto a 1000cc.

Personally difference is looks, obviously, and like what danial said, it is legally without a baffle. Smack that on with a stock header with cat box, its pretty loud imo. If that's if you're going for sound. If you decide to get illegal aftermarket headers then better you save the $400 and get the shorty installed.

 

To summarise, Gp style if you want stock and loud. If its going to be illegal then get the shorty and illegal aftermarket headers.

 

Anyway new ride not so soon, planning around mid next year. Now no time to track, buy also park at car park never use. For now enjoying my spark first lol

Considering that GP style is street legal without its baffle on, as mentioned by epk and Daniel. If you are going for "sound" it is defo sure loud enough.

 

Just throw the cert at ROV officers, if they wanna check your exhaust!

Gp style with aftermarket headers is too loud. Way louder than the shorty without silencer, due to the dimension difference. Just get an aftermarket header with a legal end can, maybe a shorty with the silencer on. Even though illegal, won't get so much attention by men in white. Tp got chance can bluff.. lta confirm cannot..

It's is just a hollow metal cone. What do you think lol. However if you still using stock headers.. it won't be bloody loud cos of cat box. You run the bike without an end can but with the cat box.... sound like little kitten lol

 

But if u using aftermarket headers.. different story. It is so loud to the extent its annoying..

Haha! GP style + Akra Headers can be a lil annoying. I agree. Especially in KPE.

But nowadays I feel not very loud alr. Maybe used to it alr. LOL.

@epk: RSV4 is defo worth the wait, how about it's servicing and parts? As costly as duc?? I loan you my figurine model la. Duc 1098

 

Servicing as per normal. Parts slightly more ex than jap bikes. Cost wise.. around 33k otr for the base model.. with aprc.. traction, wheelie and launch control!!! Factory model close to 40k. Well 1098 no more production liao, replaced with the new 1199. Base model otr around 46k.

 

Can lah bro lend me your figurine model. I park it at my usual spot.. let bro nullified admire!!!! Haha

They might be able to a good price too. Ill go through my ''lobangs'' and see if they can offer a good price for akra. LOL.
