valve clearance with all the timing chain adjustments all that, roughly how much?

i need to know if kena chop carrot or not..hahaha..

Including shims and replacement of timing chain shld be about 380 I guess. How much you paid?

ouhh okay..mine was 550, plus changed the gaskets & o-rings since my engine oil was leaking. (plus labour)

Din change the shims tho..

 

i wonder who was the previous owner, its as if he din do any maintenence stuff sia..

The thing is, I tried this morning. No sound whatsoever. Only with pillion the sound became prominent. Arghhhh

Try to check ur bearings; front & rear wheels den esp check ur swingarm bearings too. Might nt b relevant bt u did quote only wif pillion the sound was heard.

skaevo: thanks, I'll check it out with my mech later. Apparently the squealing noise is more apparent with my pillion on, but I do suspect when I'm riding there's a squealing sound as well.

Hahaha.. Sure, can meet up! I was thinking if I wanna get a second bike or just sell the R6. There again, I travel very frequently and hence, 2 bikes is a big no man.. Maintaining it can die. lol
