$190 thereabouts. Changed mine at unique. Generally we change the magnetic coil ($375) as well as the rectifier.

Well i've been seeing loads, and i mean loads of ROV officers on the road these past few days. I'm already gonna attach back my LV baffle. I don't wanna pay $500 to the govt coffers.

 

You sure they won't pick on my fender eliminator? I only got sound when during my inspection; yet they pass me. hahaha.

Bro I think if they catch your endcan without the baffle then one shot they will tekan you everything including your fender eliminator. Even your front number plate must change to METAL ones during inspection! lol

my mech told me that a certain shop called Seng Kwang can weld and retrofit a "silencer". But i don't know how knowledgable these ROV officers are to spot a fake silencer.

Yes sengkwang at amk autopoint can fabricate anything under the sun.but it all depends on luck. If the Lta guys see a silencer fitted but still feel that there's sumthing wrong sumwhere, they can still pull us in for inspection. The tests n checks at Sta,vicom,etc will then definitely reveal all "dirty secrets"

Yah alot of LTA/ROV/TP on the road recently. No point, just put the silencer back and ride with a piece of mind. For fender they will not catch it alone. Unless you have race header/powerful HID or single line back plate to lure them. Else they will likely not touch you. Like mine. HAHAHA!
