I just gave HL a call and they say they will send a letter to me and then i call back to make a booking. not sure about whats the problem.

i called HL yesterday n ask for details on the recall. its for the TPS. mayb tts the cause of my engine shutting off suddenly. happen to me twice on track. happens during high rpm n coming dwn to low rpm. then when u clutch in n tts it.

This is what happen to me once!

Morning start bike it fired up... but twist trottle no respond... nothing engine just idling only & engine light appears! Switch off again & bike starts idling again but trottle no respond. After 3rd try ok!

hv to call them directly to confirm where R6 models are affected by the TPS thing.

 

Since the newer batches of R1,fazer1 and 6 hv been hit by these.

this happen to me also once when i turnin out from my carparkwhen im abt to bring the bike to the shop...scare th sh*t out of me...i ride left all the way to the shop...:giddy:

if it's really the air filter recall.

current rider using aftermarket filter has to change back to original?

i called Alex n told him bout it, he said its probably coz my bike is running lean coz aft the the trck session i went to ah xhiong to do the dyno n check my plugs n saw it was really lean. but now its sorted out. hope it wont happen again. but the next day saw the recall n ask them bout it, told alex again n he said it could b tt problem as well.
