Its is a must from what I know that every driver/rider must carry a valid road tax & insurance document when you are on the road. But since 2004, a friend from NPC told me that these days, all they need is your personal identity card and driving license, and they can check everything online by comms to their base department via online. If you can check yours online, they should be able to.

 

But, my NPC friend also mentioned not to be aggressive and say things like "must bring meh.. tot no need what...etcetc"

 

Probably just mention something nicer like "sorry i left it a home when washing vechile, it got wet and is drying, etcetc"

Long ago used, you need to display. Some time ago, they have a handheld system which requires them to key in the vehicle reg no. to "summon" illegal parkers. But if you did buy but did not display, they will not summon you. The latest carparks have one time electronic disc issued. All they need to do is scan the disc. This way, they save alot on paper & paper work.

regarding the gear box, i think u can try bikelab. one thing i notice about these guys is that they dun think twice about bringing down the engine. having prepped so many engines for asia pac, i feel these guys know their stuff.

quickshifter is definitely easier. but in supersport, the aim is to keep racing cost to a minimal.

Supersport in my opinion will end up spending more money to make their bike race worthy. Like some peeps here, High Com this, High Airflow that.

i juz gotten my R606 today, while riding i felt my wirst hurt abit, izzit due to my posture or wat? cos my wrist is lik bending inwards..

Was your previous bike the FZ6? The handle bars have less sweep as compared to the bars of the 06R6. You might not have gotten used to it on the first day. Likewise, after riding a motorcycle for almost 6 years, my hands also felt like its going outwards when I hit back my old school 1 Brake Human Power mtb suddenly.

 

Try to put less weight on your wrist initially on the R6, that should ease the pain a little to get used to it.
