hey guys... juz wondering... any of u guys installed the ignition module thingy?? Any reviews abt it?? The mech said that it'll boost up the low range and mid range... and u can set the amount of power for the different precentage of throttle cracked on...

I heard that the quickshifter can cut fuelling to your bike out of the blue, after sometime. Since the quickshifter's job is to cut fuelling to your bike anyway.

for those who plan to buy quickshifter, u dont have to get dynojet....there are many other standalone brands in the market.

 

for those intending to race, dun bother buying QS. not allowed.

u need to have pc3 1st b4 u can install the quickshifter.. the same goes for the ignition module..

good lo.. go buy it la.. then u dun even have to close the throttle while upshiftin w/o the clutch..

Dynojet.

To use, dynojet Quick Shifter, u must have dynojet ignition module which works together with PC3.

 

Ignition Module itself is not for power gain, but with tuning it will improve throttle response.

 

 

For those already with or without PC3, who just want to use quick shifter, there are other brands available in the market. Do your search.

 

 

 

I am not sure of the reason why its not allowed for the Supersport Class in Asia Pac and MSS, but its allowed for Superbikes. One reason, would be to reduce cost for racing in Supersport Class. Also take note, Supersport Class cannot change rim, brake pump, discs, windscreen, Fork must be standard but can change internal, no coating of forks.

 

Having said this, Hamaguchi and Fuad(petronas) can do 1.35/36 in Johor Circuit and 2.17/18 at Sepang.

Also take note, Supersport Class cannot change rim (7.4 never mention cannot change juz can't use different size), brake pump, discs, windscreen (1.2 can duplicate as long as transparent colour),Fork must be standard but can change internal, no coating of forks (6.1 Front fork shims,hydralic pistons,oil passage,springs & spacer can be modified OR CHANGE!!)so wat is standard in that sentence its practically new fork!!

rein, u r right. i just realised the difference is MSS rule.

 

as for the rim, does that mean can change? asia cannot.

 

for the windscreen, ....correct can change, but must remain stock shape. no double bubble and racing screens.(most use double bubble except bikes used in asia as well)

 

coating....i referring to DL or titanium nitride(spelling) coating. u cannot change ur fork, only internal.

 

as for engine aid, most do the ever famous expensive power gain....blue printing. expensive labour....but all replaced with balanced stock parts. hence, this process aint illegal. i have also heard of modified cams which look very much like stock(cheating). the other thing is the magneto and charger coil. the race version is smaller and very much lighter which reduces unsprung mass at the crank.(expensive item, about 2kUS - not sure if legal)

just race la......when u come in 1st place, just hope the runner up doesnt have a big wallet. other than 1st place, they wont bother protesting.

 

even in MSS rd2, race 1, max came in 1st with brembos, no one protested.

If you have problems removing the residual adhesive, we recommend GT85 with a cotton lint cloth/suitable cleaning cloth. It should come off easily.
