any 1 notice the restrictor box on r6 that connects to the exhaust. is that design by yamaha to restrict power or sumthing? if some 1 change aftermarket exhaust means there not much difference in power gain and sound ? i read from fastbike ,they test with 3 diff leo vince pipe and there wasnt much different bcos of the **** box..... saw U.S forum they remove it and connect straight to exhaust, but hey. illgeal here i assume. any 1 can shed some light on this....tt explain the r6 weak pick up n mid !!!! piss..

Its tedious, but back thread a little where we have shared to "light" of prim, secondary muffling & also the ex-up valve.

error code 18: ur servo motor is stuck

 

bro wat exactly is a servo meter?i get the code at times when im in a jam at low rpm or sumthing.then after i start riding normally after awhile past rpm 6 or 7 then the yellow light is gone.should i jus leave it or how?pls advise thnx

its the servo motor. It is a signal actuated device that turns & pulls the cable attached to it. Te cable in turns pulls & actuates your ex-up valve. It either means your motor is faulty due to mechanical fault, or servo motor does not turn due to no signals supplied to it.

tat box is the primary muffler of the r6.. and becos it restricts exhaust flow it oso affects power.. frankly i oso duno if its realli workin.. cos the exhaust is stil quite loud.. but hey i'm not complainin

 

tats y i dun see the point of changin the end can cos the box is stil there.. there wun be any real gain in power.. so if i'm goin to change it wld be a full sys..

u can ride the bike without the end can also if the box is there...try already without endcan but box there...sound same as with endcan.... think the endcan is onli for show....

You can try Heong Leong for a brand new one, You need to wait but the price is reasonable. Trust me.

If your bike is with the Heong Leong sticker, you can just go down Heong Leong to collect together with the pillion footrest covers... they will check their records for your number plate when u get there...

yup.. the single seater comes free.. and its actually one of the reasons y i bought the r6.. i tot finally yamaha has finally caught up wif suzuki in terms of value added equipment.. suzuki has been givin out free single seaters for god noes how long oredi..

 

but the fellows in usa dun get the free single seater u noe.. hahaha

BRO my advice to u is get a brand new one..

cause these electronic equipment they can fail u anytime,plus at the condition we ride it,they can juz give way anytime..

Get a brand new one from an authorised dealer..if it fail or damage can be repaired or even exchange,

i know UNITY offers warranty to the item..cause no point get it cheap if fails u squeeze ball & can do nothing...brand new gonna be kinda steep but if it offers security in cases of failure WHY NOT!!GO FOR IT!!..which i can tell happen to many riders using the PC3..
