guys im kinda confused abt arrow exhaust systems.they hv collectors,race tech n competition.did sum research thru their websites n other sites too but still confused coz my english nt tat gd. can sumbody explain it to me coz thinkin of changing my full system.thinkin of getting the arrow "gp type" full system. thanks :)

Hmmm..i think u should consider..

Sportbikes models get faced out faster than those touring models..

Technology,Upgrades,OEM Parts get difficult to access as it get older..in Singapore at least..

 

I suggest Really2 consider ur utilization,set ur buying budget..

don juz end up buying something u might regretting..

Yamaha Sportbike Engine are built agressive..so longevity & durability are not Yamaha strong points..:p

cool....both 05 and 06 onwards r6s are good bikes. i believe there are 3 2005 r6s on sale - mine, hachi's and liquid emotion's.

R6 2006-2007 one model, R6 2008-2009 another model. I recommend 2008 onwards model. Price you've gotta survey each bike shop.

would like to know buying 2nd hand from a bikeshop... normally will they include the insurance and road tax and transfer fee into the loan???

i'm sure the 2006 r6 is a better bike in terms of performance than the 2005 model - more aggressive posture, higher revving engine, etc but the price difference is pretty big, about 5k.

 

be prepared - riding a sportsbike means you carry your raincoat and helmet everywhere you go!!

 

for normal roads like sg both bikes dont really differ much cos you cant push it hard enough to feel the difference.

 

don't flame me for the following, i'm just quoting from someone i know..

but the key issue in there is, the rider isn't accustomed to both bikes. he is just a trackie somewhere else, but no in SG or Msia.. he was given the liberty to ride both bikes, on the same track on the same day..

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

An 03-05R6 will be faster than a 06R6 when Amba/Edmundino is on the former and I'm on the latter.

i wld say the average rider wld be faster on the road wif the 03-05 model BUT faster on the track wif the 06 model n abv
