yesh.. other then mudguard cleareance, you will be affecting the rake angle, trail etcetc....if you lower/raise by maybe even 2~5mm.

I raised my fork stanchions once (means overall bike height is dropped down, together with the bars). This steepened my rake angle, and turning in characteristic changed markedly. take note to raise/lower them with small resolutions so it will not affect handling the bad way, especially at high speeds..

2 cents worth...

his whole bike geometry is gonna get screwed up :giddy: :goodluck:

Hey 06R6 Guys,

Do you find the torque lacking when riding in the slow local traffic?

Does it seem that its takes lots of revving to get of the traffic lights briskly?

Is there lots of clutch-slippage to get off from standstill?

Do you feel there's not enough torque low-down in the rpm range to ride within speed limits?

Do you feel that 06R6 has little torque down low that in SG's slow and start-stop traffic nature, its frustrating?

Are you sick of having to keep revving very high in low gears in order to get it going due to lack of low-end torque for local riding?

This is 'coz I heard 06R6 is a great track bike but a lousy local road bike.

Thanks.

buy bikes dat u like.. not buy bikes dat other pple like.. u are riding it.. so wad if pple say its lousy..

its better to buy a bike that u like and pple say its lousy. rather den buy a bike u don like and everyone says its good..
