That's a lot of damper in the market. Bitubo, öhlin, Scott. There's a guy selling off his Scott, do check them out. Installing heavy accessories can invite low lying thives. So please be carefully and take necessary preventive measures. Eg alarm. :)

Thanks for the safety advice, so installing it on my bike will solve the problem? Previously i rode CBR 1000 and the handling was not as hard as this. Y is that so?

Imho, don't think a damper will solve your problem. Take your bike to a suspension shop to get your basic suspension setup for your weight and continue from there.

Nice but why from Honda to Yamaha? From 1000 to 600. Any big difference?

Well, 1000 to 600 downgrade coz 1000 maintainance high as i peraonally feel and all e way from 2B i was riding on Honda, for a change switch to Yamaha. Haha!

I don't understand, the r6 is actually quite light to turn, and the only reason why you would wanna install a damper is to prevent tankslapping at high speeds. On the contrary, a steering damper will make it harder to turn at low speeds.

Hey!

Ive got a feeling its one of the basics. Check the tyre pressures of both front & rear wheels and If the tyres are squared up?

And a damper would not help you in this situation.

:)

Probably can list some of your personal bike store and pricing for ease of reference. :)

True, the statement is very correct.

A basic check on the tyre will justify, problem persist. Probably due to suspension setup.

Haha problem solved.. The answer is tyre pressure. Previous owner boost the tyre pressure up front 38psi and rear 40psi. I have reduced and feel better. Wat's the ideal pressure for R6 tyre rear is 180/55 front 120/70?

Thanks for the basic tips..

Might want to check the owner's manual because there are different pressures for riding solo and with pillion. And there's also different settings for high speeds day and night.

do u guys happen to have meet ups or outings?

Maybe you can volunteer to plan an outing?

HAha. But i believe there's a more active outing schedule on Joel's facebook. Haven't seen him much around here ever since he's gotten his rsv4. But he does stop by once in awhile.
