It really depends on km covered..not time..

Never use bike can last years..ha..ha

My K is also new and I just topped up again after about 800km, I will now measure again...because the 800km not precise...

Anybody know how many km can get from a full tank of 2T?

Would be good to know so we can compare

Posted

hey guys i just went to chia heng and united today man! haha anyway i forget to ask them but do you guys know if they sell tanks there? not the normal ones on the K but other shapes tt can fit onto a K? hahha

Im planning to change my bike wiring to 12V too.

My mech told me to get the following items

RXZ Ignition Coil - $10 (LAB)

RXZ Rectifier - $10 (LAB)

CG 125 battery - $10 (LAB)

4 x 12V bulbs for signal lights - $1.60 (Bendemeer Shop)

1 x 12V bulb for headlight - $0.50 (LAB)

1 x 12V bulb for tail light - $0.50 (LAB)

12V bulbs for meter if ur using RXK meter (not sure how many)

I should be changing to RXZ old model speedo.

Once all my items are in, i will go to Skudai where my mech lives.

He will do everything for me. :thumb:

The reason to re-wire to get a perfect flow of electricity to the bulbs, horns n battery. U dun have to nessasary convert to 12v to get this . 6v will do just fine. I been using 6v since my first K n it did'nt give me any problem. What the mech will do is replace all old worn-off wires and change it to new ones. This will cost abt $50 - $80, swee-swee one. Remember, copper wires dun last forever even with what voltage yr bike is. What to last, buy gold plated wires.

2011 - 2011 : Honda Steed VLX

2001 - present : Yamaha RX-135

2006 - Present : Honda Cub C70D

2008 - 2011 : Yamaha TW

Yeah. i agree with you,bro.

Just checked with my mech.

You are right.

He said he will replace all e worn out wires & change to new ones.

But only dat he's doing it for me FOC as he has wires.

All i need to do is to get e items necessary for the change to 12V.

If i change to 12V, wad wld be e difference besides e current flow?

Any improvement in throttle response & riding difference?

my C70 i s 12V converted from a 6volt..

well the benefits are.... 12v bulbs are easier to find....

if you want to change racing CDi oso easier,

and of cos.... smaller sleek lookin IU unit...

Other than that... nothing much ah bro....

like some of the other bros said... 6volt or 12volt does not make much diff....

Only if you really picky bout size of IU unit...

if you really wan good throttle response.... then change to Fast throttle, then riding difference,... change Carb, change settings, "tebok" the pipe, change to sotong tyres.. and drop sprocket sizing.... confirm got riding difference...

to touch up bear parts.

wire harness(copper will oxidize along the years (10-15yrs)

original wire harness material are

the connector(made of plastic will crack after some time)

cables aka wire are copper thread(the thicker the cable the better the current flow,in term of electrical issue is call lower impendence)

best is to soldering to the cable instead of tape it up.few ppl like me will do this.

what can you do to make your lighting more stable is to provide a direct ground to the light from the battery.

voltage issue is the same as the country electrical supply.

some country using 110v ac

some use 240v ac

difference is only the bulb appliances

gold plated is out of issue a bit to expensive later steal the cable and leave the bike there...hahaha:angel::angel::angel:

iu not a problem new iu can run on 6v only when you rev the throttle

are you trying to make someone into a rempit????:dot:

dun listen to him.

you should change/remove to

fast throttle (daytona)

kehin racing crab

chamber pipe

2t pump(extra weight)

open pod filter

change rim to spokie 17 x 1.4 use bicycle tire

use thinner chain

front spocket use 17T

rear spocket use 32T

and loss some weight

you can hit the speed to 180km:dot::dot::dot:
