No doubt it felt like a real accomplishment when I got up, returned the bike (couldnt start... lol), took another bike and pillioned her thru fig8 with no problem.

From what I recall, I still checked back to the right then a glance to the left (not back) to look out for traffic from the left then I moved off. I did ask the instructor about this 'coz I was confused at that time too, so just ask them lor... they're the experts.
