As we noe, we guys will spent a big sum in wedding... wat do u guys think???

Hmm....sometimes i been dream wat if my partner side dun mind not having wedding, I'll be very glad...can spent more on honeymoon.....hahaa......

but you must be more specific lah...wedding definitely need...but wedding dinner is another matter...

 

i dont like the idea of spending money, time & effort to organise a wedding dinner...let my friends eat & still must make fun of me!!

 

i would rather use the money to have a simple reception then use the money to renovate my house...

not really spend big $$ it all depends. overall my wedding only cost ~$2000 1 of my buddy made almost $11,000

my rom was my 'wedding' haha, had a bbq at pasir ris chalet after that. a yr later take wedding pix and buffet lunch. hubby n i refuse to go thru all tat jazz n our parents r ok w it

i mean the whole wedding, including flower, ang bao, photo dinner ect ect. end of the day with all the ang bao we collected my wedding onli cost ~$2000 then looking at all the gifts from relatives & friends (especially the super thick gold necklance from my in-law ) i feel like i got more then i had pay for.

as for my buddy he actually made ~$11,000 in cash :help:

But then, some people rather think differently.

 

You have to learn to understand that a marriage isnt build on traditional material things.

hmm may not be, could be catering at some club or some thing like tat. hotels oso offer wedding lunch instead of dinner which is oso cheaper.

i prefer no dinner, use the money to go oversea for a honeymoon, more romantic..

actually the dinner isn't expensive, cos pple attendin it will give ang pow... sometimes the ang pow money is more then the dinner itself.... its the trouble of arrangement and preparation of the dinner very troublesome, i lazy hahaa...

but if my gf wan then i will go thru with her....

can have cheap cheap de ma, i remember i attended a weddin dinner at community centre, and the food is delicious oso... i stil remember the abalone is big sia n taste nice oso...

I still can remember my sister's wedding dinner.

 

Its frankly a waste of time, food and money.

 

All just because my mother is vain.

 

Not because my mother demanded it. but also because my sister wanted to at least have done something which I didn't provide for my own marriage.

 

Siblings rivarly as well as face at stake for them.

 

I couldnt care less. And frankly, I am not particular with it cos I've attended as well as help out at enough weddings to know that certains particular issues are only important to people who have never experienced them.

 

I cried a bit at my sister's wedding dinner, not because of how I missed my sister or any lovely crap.

 

I cried because I was screamed off for not listening to my sister's instruction to rush upstairs to the hotel room to 'plan and be instructed' as to what to do as an usher.

 

Machiam like her friends know better to instruct and order me around as to who are our relatives to be seated at what locations???????

 

Anyway, all these sibling rivarly thingy had better be working out to some advantage. If my sister dared to demand a divorce with her very obliging hubby....she will lose face to me. So lets hope this keep her marriage going better then mine.
