set around the centre... shld be around 1 or 2 drops per min.

try not to set too high until it splatters oil onto your tyres and rims..

 

depending on how the installation of the vaccum.. your number 5 setting may not be the same as another bike's one..

 

try to feel for the "wetness" of your chain and adjust accordingly..

It's a thingy which you install on your bike so that you need not spray your chain anymore.

once used semi-syn esso EO during touring.. but mess up the rims as it's too "thin"..

 

changed back to scottoil after coming back to SGP..

 

anyway, scottoil is specially designed for chain.. i guess it's better in a sense to use back scottoil with scottoiler..

 

anyways, one bottle of 500ml lasts for abt 1yr when used locally..

I am using dual injector for my oiler and just adjusted to 4 during to rainy days. normal non rainy day is set to 3

i dono about u guys man i see the scottoiler is red color n EO is like yellow, i like the red colour more. thats y i use the scottoiler oil... lolx

my setting was actually 4 but it kinda moved to 8 for a week without me noticing it....the rims was ok....the scottoiler oil did not mess up my rims...

Mine set to 3. when i park for about 30 min... there are residue oil on the floor drip out from injector. Is this normal?

hw much residue oil? whn i got my scotoiler the other time, it drip like no tomor even whn the engine has stopped. the vaccum wasnt working n i had to change the whole thing. if it's a few drops and it doesnt drip after u stop the engine for a while, i think it should be ok. just monitor it daily.

shouldn't be dripping if the vaccum is install properly.. maybe can check the vaccum plug again..

 

for me, i used to have some dripping, but after i cable tie the bottom of the oil reservior (the tube), the dripping stops..

 

i can do it for you when we meet up..

It's a self oiling device

There will be a bottle filled with chain oil, this will be kept under your seat, attached is a tube from the bottle to your socket chain area.

This device works only when your engine is running. The suction from your engine will activate the oiler which will drip oil on your Chain

 

You will never need to oil your chain again

And it is said to prolong the life span of your chain from 2 to 7 times
