Hi all !~

 

I'm getting my Bol'Dor this wed! It's a 5 yr old bike. Actually it was never my intention to get a bol'dor, all the while wanted to get the normal spec3 but today went bike shop, this bol'dor condition is very good (40k mileage). In the past thought it's look kinda weird, but after a closer look today, it's unique in it's own way =)

 

Just some question, when doing servicing need to remove the head ? So when i'm changing spark plug, headlight, meter light etc does it cost more workmanship fee coz extra work ? =x Sounds weird but can bol dor put shrouds?

 

Anyway Bro Fazli, i intend to change the windscreen coz it look like there are scratches. How much does your's cost?

My screen is custom cut from a suzuki 1000cc sportbike. Got it from scrapyard and got a fren to custom cut to fit the Bold'Or. Hardwork by him I must say.

Changing of spark plug no need. Just remove tank, seat & left & right small side cover.

 

Only remove head fairing when:

1) Change meter lights;

2) Tap source for Volt meter;

3) Replacing Screen fairing;

4) Removing of Horn;

Yes yes correct. Slowly mod then few months down the road, you'll be impressed by how much you have done up your bike. Patience is the key to success...

Yeah, for me, I'll go for my interior first, then got spare, can spend on accesorries...

That's why you see my bike very plain. Only the box is added for a purpose. Slowly do it up.

The mainstand aint that heavy la, infact, its almost negligible of its prescence..

& u'll be glad if u hv it on as u dun hv to worry abt chain or tire maintenance issues..

 

& if still possible, gt the OEM ones..

Yeah... I last minute change my mind to get mainstand. Previously i tot of installing scottoiler. Hahax! Will be installing from Unique... Are those from there considered OEM ones?

I wanted to get boldor last time but wasnt many 2nd hand around... Emmmm

Mainstand is abt 2kg. Not much of an issue cos I way heavier than mainstand. Hahahaha~!

 

If the price of the mainstand they quote you is 100+, that is not Honda OEM. Same like what I'm using. IMO, good enuff but I'm not sure the current ones have a stronger main pin. I bought Honda OEM main pin from Boon Siew for a few tens of dollars if I'm not wrong. Totally different built.
